Possibly the worst product I have ever bought
I can't fathom the positive reviews for this thing. The anti-knock system on it works surprisingly well, but every other feature of this mug is useless.Firstly, the cap comes loose far too easily. The first time I put it in my bag it leaked everywhere. I then thought I'd just use it in my car instead, but the base is too big to fit in a standard sized drinks carrier. It doesn't even keep drinks warm for long - my coffee was tepid within one hour. This smacks of a designer who is focusing so hard on the USP that they neglect to consider the important things which make the product useable. Avoid at all costs.

Not the same as the original
I bought two mighty mugs in 2015, both have worn but still useable. The base seal wears then breaks off making the cup wobble.I replaced those mugs with these ones and first thing i noticed was the lids seemed cheaper (new one on right old one on left). The drink also air locks all the time then floods you with hot coffee. The lid is difficult to open and close correctly, and it also leaks. The old one never had this problem. Now both of the new mugs i bought have suffered the same problem the old one did at 5 years old. the rubber around the bottom peeled off. These mugs lasted less than 1 year - cheaper poorly made product - if mighty mug are reading this return to your old design otherwise you will lose returning customers like us.

Doesn't retain temperature, but it's perfect for what I want!
One sticking point for customers would be whether or not this mug retains the temperature of the liquid inside. From my experience, I donāt think it does. Iāve only had hot drinks so far, and I think that holds the heat a little longer than your standard takeaway paper cup, but itās not like a Thermos flask. If youāre looking for something to keep drinks warm, Iād advise you look elsewhere already. However, this mug is perfect for what I want to use it for.I donāt commute each morning with a coffee, and literally use it to take to Costa at lunch time to help the environment, save a bit of money, and then carry whatās left of my drink back to work. The fact that the temperature cools as expected is fine with me.Please note that this charcoal colour seems to have more of a blue tint to it, rather than being more black or grey; if thatās what you are expecting. The fact that the mug is tall is a good feature, as it gives you plenty to grip to if/when youāre walking around with it.I can clarify that the capacity of this mug is about the same as a medium sized hot beverage from Costa (which are quite big anyway).I have found that the bottom of the mug does need to be clean in order for the suction feature to work properly, but thankfully it doesnāt have to be pristinely clean - thereās no need to sit there for hours ensuring thereās not one bit of dust or anything like that on the bottom!I also found at first that the mug didnāt āstickā to my wooden desk at work, and I just assumed it was one of those materials it wasnāt compatible with. However, over the past few days I have found that it now āsticksā to it, so itās perfect!I have washed this mug by hand, and in the top shelf of a dishwasher, and havenāt found that there is any water in between the walls of the mug (as far as I can tell), which conflicts with another reviewers comments.Overall, I would definitely recommend this if you are quite clumsy, as it does indeed hold to particular surfaces as advertised, you can travel with it without the fear of spilling whatās inside, and drink comfortably with the flip-top lid.I havenāt found that the mug leaks at all, but then again, I havenāt thrown it around with a beverage inside. If you are looking for something to keep your drinks hot/cold then you definitely should look elsewhere.

So useless you'll want to kick it over, probably why that's its main feature.
It leaks when you do it up. (squeezes drink up under pressure through the cap thread)It doesn't keep drinks hot. (30m with this or a good 12 hours with a thermos)It has to be open with a hot drink inside or something bad will happen??It has poor drinking ergonomics. It's not cheap (even on sale).I get the idea for a non tip mug, I had one when I was 2 or 3. Nowdays I'd have been much happier with a cup that just kept my coffee hot in the morning and didn't try to cover me in it while filling or drinking. So bad , I had to come leave a review.

Terrified!
I filled the mighty mug with cold water after it arrived in my home, I was going on assignment and I needed to have water with me and the mug so I could fill it with coffee or hot chocolate in any coffee shop in London. Just as I put it in my professional backpack, zipped (closed) the bag and put it on my shoulders, I started feeling a noise of a water-leak... I felt it was coming from my bag... and it was the mighty mug.My MacBook had gone flooded, my £3/k camera, and my over £3/k worth of lenses and the hard drive.Somebody's got to be telling me who is responsible for that?
