Nutricost Caffeine Pills 200mg, 120 Capsules - Gluten Free, Non-GMO

This has been my go to lifesaver for keeping me awake for the last year. I take a caffeine pill almost every morning to make it through medical school. I hate the taste of coffee and this gets the job done faster, and cheaper, without any weird taste. I prefer these over other caffeine pills because these make me less nauseous than other ones. Any nausea is usually because I take it on an empty stomach and a few crackers solves that. These can definitely give me the boost I need in the morning to stay alert, because without these I usually fall asleep standing up. I’d say the limits of this are if you try to pull an all nighter or only sleep one hour. I’ve done that before and tried to use this pill to stay awake and it still miraculously keeps me mostly awake but I feel awful.

I think this is a great product. I want to give up coffee for a few reason but didn’t want to cut caffeine completely. I find that one of these pills effectively replaces the two large cups of coffee I have in the morning, with the added benefits of being noticeably less jittery than I often feel with coffee. It provides a good clean level of energy. I tent to notice the effect about 10 minutes after taking it. Also, it doesn’t have lots of acid in it like coffee which can cause stomach issues. I also like how it only has 1 ingredient.

I still enjoy coffee, and I do like the taste, but most days I prefer start with two of these 200mg capsules at 6am - that's one dose of 400mg, which keeps me going all day, no jitters, and I fall asleep at 10pm. Please be aware of consuming any other foods, energy drinks, or products that contain caffeine while using this product. I limit total daily intake to 400mg.

Woah. This stuff. I was (am) addicted to caffeine (partly due to needing energy from a medication that can make me fatigued). However, coffee was costing me $100-200 a month and not only made me really jittery and anxious but also, I had to have like 3-4 cups a day to stay afloat. Lucky for me, I decided to try these (I always go with top rated products, with the most votes, because there’s usually a reason so many people say it’s so good) and wow did they rock my world…!!! The first day, I took one pill in the morning and within 20 minutes, I felt energized but clear and in a pure and clean way…no jitteriness, no anxiety, and no feeling like I need another until midday (truly, I haven’t tried to go a day on just one pill in the morning - I always take a 2nd one between 12pm and 1pm just to ensure I’m not losing out on feeling fully energized). I don’t take naps anymore (like I did on coffee) and I don’t drink coffee anymore. 1 pill in the morning and one midday keeps me going from 6am to 12am (that’s 18 hours). It’s also way easier to wake up. And I still have no trouble falling asleep. I REALLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT if you’re looking for less jitters and anxiety and to completely obliterate your coffee expenses. Note that coffee has other things in it that contributes to the jitters and anxiety. I’ve now learned that caffeine, alone, was never the culprit. Nothing but good, clean, clear, pure, effective, consistent energy, here. You will NOT be disappointed. DO NOT take more than 2 pills a day…also, you really shouldn’t need to. Pro-tip: L-theanine works synergistically with caffeine and will not make you tired. Rather, it will calm and relax your mind. I take two tablets of the Stress-Relax brand called “Suntheanine” in the morning when I take my first caffeine pill of the day, and this helps to combat any heady feeling the caffeine pill may give, as well keeps me calm, cool, and collected when I go through stressful situations throughout the day (as a preschool/kindergarten teacher). I highly recommend this combo if you also feel like 200mg of caffeine is strong on your system. :)

Purchased this in Nov, 2016. 500 count size..Been using this product continuously since that date. FYI: 1 capsule of 200mg = 2 cups of Coffee. Prior to purchase: I was looking for something more cost economical and long lasting vs coffee and energy drinks. First off, I'm male, 5'9" 30's and weight 180lbs~ and have a mid- moderate/high tolerance to caffeine. Sodas like coca cola did nothing for me caffeine wise. I've tried various Teas, 5 hour energy, Monster which had no effect on me. NOS, Rockstar, Red bull, and coffees worked but caused me to crash mid day 4-5 hours in. If your tolerance is lower u may want the 100 mg capsules. I prior to taking this, had problems staying asleep so i can't comment whether this will give you insomnia, however because I only take this product in the morning when i wake up it should not be a factor because the therapeutic effects should have worn off by then. First impressions: I took 1 capsule after waking up and noticed the effects occur about 20-30min post ingestion. Fatigue gradually lifted, there was no headaches, which some people swear they need to feel to know its working. No bowel movement associated with coffee. I went to work and the duration lasted 12~ hours; no crash, minimal fatigue and excess energy. As an experiment, I took one on a day off an lounged around the majority of the day. Some how prior to the effects kicking in, i managed to fall back asleep and woke up suddenly wide eyed noting that my body temperature was elevated and heart rate slightly increased. I quickly started rapidly walking around burning off excess energy till my heart rate returned to normal (couple minutes). At 1-3 Month: Initial impressions are still valid..I stopped taking them on days off and noticed I slept much more to rebalance the missed sleep equilibrium. I've noticed that I was awake but this did not really affect focus beyond the norm. I noticed minimal Fatigue from time to time after mentally trying days. Told my friends I was on these and gave one of them some to try out; he reported they worked well too. 6 month-1yr Most days the product was enough as indicated. Yet Day after day of work, Some days were trying. I Noticed sometimes I would some times go into an Automatic Mode like Adam Sander did from that movie Click. I was awake to just do what was required of me (general indifference). I started bringing a back up coffee just in case with me. On a couple of my days off, I slept 6+ hours to make up lost sleep. Today 04/26/2018 IE (1.5yr~) I still take 1 in the morning. Sometimes i top it off with some coffee, or in the afternoon. The 12 hour effects/ excess energy are still there. I have not experience any negative side effects since that initial experiment. I personally think I'm missing sleep which is causing my primary problems and this capsule can only negate so much before it seems like its not working.. I don't think my tolerance to caffeine has increased. Most of the time 85% these are still enough to get me through the day. Looking back, sometimes I wish I had tablets so I could take half a tablet instead of the full dosage, but these are capsules so i can't do that. Pros: No Headaches, Works 12 hours+, No crash, Cheap $0.035/capsule. Negates missed sleep. Excess energy. Get Stuff Done! Cons: Wakes you up but minimal effect on Focus beyond awake alertness. Capsules can't be cut in half like tablets. Negative stereotypes regarding pep pills.. Insomnia?? idk.. I'd still recommend these, they work and the side effects are minimal..

Ok so these are very good if you don’t want coffee or an energy drink since they cause crashes but the thing is you’ll get this feeling of being bloated occasionally I’ve noticed it’s not every time but sometimes u just feel oddly bloated but u don’t look bloated at all so it’s kinda weird, but if u take it cause you’ve been up for long and wanna stay up longer it sometimes won’t work I’ve done that and fallen asleep right after, but if you take it in the morning I notice great steady energy with no crashes, unlike coffee or energy drinks which give you a rush at first then you crash shortly after these pills will give you steady energy for hours, I find myself to be the most productive when I take them, don’t make the same mistake I did of taking 2 the first time cause it didn’t work at first, lol that was an extremely productive day though I guess, will make you nauseous tho if your not moving a lotttt. sometimes I do notice since you get such steady energy levels you kinda like get this feeling that disappears like some sort of creativity or dopamine something u just feel a little like a productive zombie for me personally like my personality almost disappears a little? Idk how to explain it but yeah I love these and these are gonna last me over a year they give you so many so it’s def worth trying
