This wax is great. It doesn't have any patroleum jelly in it
This wax is great. It doesn't have any patroleum jelly in it, so it stays firm and never feels greasy. I have a longer thin handlebar with significant curl, and this wax holds my mustache together and in place all day. I sleep with it in, and when I wake up my mustache is like 90% still held together and just needs a quick touch up. The scent: I saw a lot of complaints about the scent and was a little apprehensive, but I'm used to scented products. The scent itself is similar to how one's clothes smell after standing around a cedar campfire for a few hours. Kind of smokey and cedary. At first it seemed pretty strong, but I was used to it about an hour later, and now I'm into it. Firmness: this is a pretty hard wax. Even when warm, it takes some force to scrape any up out of the tin. This is a good thing, as it definitely stays on better. That said, if you don't warm it first or massage it between your finger enough or work it into the hairs enough, it will look clumpy. This isn't a defect, but just improper application. When done correctly it isn't visible. All in all, this is just the quality of product I've been looking for regarding hold strength and duration, plus it's a lot of product for the price.

Better then Death Grip
Great smell. Not like a pine tree smell but more like a cedar tree that was cut up by a lumberjack. As far as the hold goes, for me, it’s stronger then Death Grip. Lasts longer too but those HOT summer days when it’s in the 90’s it doesn’t do so good. Give it a few hours and your stache is drooping. Still way better then Death Grip but that’s my opinion

Woodsman Mustache Wax vs. Unruly Mustache
My mustache likes to put in the fight. In doing so, I need to engage in fisticuffs with it on a daily basis. I have failed in earlier attempts, using inferior waxes, and I must admit that the Woodsman was going to be my last ditch effort. If the Woodsman couldn't do it, no wax could.I was pleasantly surprised at receiving it, as I did not expect a nicely wooded tin. Unique and actually adds a little traction when opening. The wax itself is very solid, which I did expect, and upon using thumbnails to adze off the appropriate amount, I got to work.My mustache is a wide, 4 color brute and like his big brother (The Beard), he has a mind and temperament of his own. With the wax being as solid as it is, it took some time to work it in. The use of a comb helped a bit to make sure the application was evened out. Please keep in mind, this product is not for the meek and timid and when you work it in, you WILL lose a few strands. After working the wax in, it has an outstanding aroma; one that reminds you often that this world is primarily wooded and lush, not covered in concrete and asphalt. It has an all-day attitude with only needing occasional reminders from you that should your mustache have a curl. This wax is well worth the money and the manufacturer provides plenty in the size of the tin for the cost. I know I will be using this for quite some time.K

Very easy to apply, durable enough (read below for best performance), fresh!
Great stache wax. I’ve tried several brands, after having grown a full beard and mustache for almost four years, and this is by far the best product. Other reviewers may complain wax has little duration on their mustaches. To fix this just apply a little more wax, and spread across the mustache using a little comb. In doing so, it works like magic. The other great feature is the light but fresh pine smell, and the softness to warm between your index fingers for am easy apply.

Great scent, great hold, all around solid product.
This wax has great hold and a good scent.Don't be discouraged by the packaging, the Woodsman logo is affixed with glue and looks a little cheap, but the stuff on the inside is what you're really after, and after using it for a few weeks I am happy to report that it allows me to shape my mustache quickly and easily. It spreads easily, but once it is in has great hold. I live in a warm and humid environment and sweat is constantly an issue, but this stuff holds up well in the heat. The scent is nice, but fades after the first hour. The smell is woody with a hint of campfire and it goes on well after a morning shave. In my opinion this stuff has better hold than Fisticuffs, although Fisticuffs is quite good as well and if you can afford it I'd pick up a tin of that too.

Durable but Fragrant
First - as far as a wax that holds and does what it needs to do - this does not play around. Great product in this regard. I am sure it would last all day and even the toughest hairs will bow to its power. Here is my "however"... the scent. **I am sensitive to odors... so this is MY experience!**If you like it, then I can't recommend this product enough. I, however, had to scrub it out after a couple hours. It is very distinctive (cut wood/pine and sandalwood) and over 2 hours, it did not reduce substantially. I am moderately sensitive to odors, so this started to give me a headache within 30m. I tried to wear it longer to see if it was just my initial reaction and whether it would subside over time. After 2 hours, I had to remove it.Great product, but not if you have an issue with the scent.

and I must say I do love it.
So I bought this product and just used it, and I must say I do love it.. The smell of pine is really great and goes well with my beard oil, but I do have a few gripes about it.. First thing is, it gives a VERY shiny and waxy/wet look, instead of looking natural.... And secondly, it doesn't hold that firm, at all.... In fact, it's only a little firmer than beard oil, and beard oil isn't supposed to be firm.... So I still have the problem of my mustache being untamed, but nonetheless, I plan on mixing the mustache wax and beard oil and rubbing throughout my beard daily since both are made of all natural ingredients... But a very nice product I must say

Good product. With proper application..2+ Hour hold
Once I learned how to properly apply (scrape some with the back of your nail, then warm it up by rubbing between you fingers) it worked great. Holds for at least 2 hrs; depends on the ammount you apply. Goes on clear, smells like wax, doesn’t have the wet look once on.

It holds pretty well , not strong enough in summers
For price of 2124 . the quantity was much lower than what I expected. My mustache is very hard to tame , shape and woodsman wax did shape it well but given the fact that temperature in my city is above 36C usually, it just starts to lose its very strong hold, very soon. I haven't used this product in winters yet but I'm pretty sure it will perform much much better. These days it can hold well for about two or three hours, then I have to adjust(not reapplying wax) my handlebar mustache again. So the overwhelming positive reviews (outside of India) are because of their countries not experiencing hot summers.Another thing worth noting, it is hard to get it out of your mustache, with just water. You'll need a face-wash to get it all out.

It has a strong cedar scent (smells like cedar to me anyway) that may well be overpowering to many. I personally like the smell of cedar so it doesn't bother me.Works as advertised and provides (for me anyway) about 4 hours of hold, 6 at most. Putting too much on won't increase this hold time any appreciable amount and will end up creating an uncomfortable mess instead. It's better to touch-up during the day as needed when what was applied wears off from performing normal actions like eating or, especially, drinking hot beverages. Obviously touching/playing with the mustache diminishes the hold time but it's inevitable that you will do this during the day.The amount provided lasts (me) about 4-5 months of daily use. When comparing to the Vanilla scented version from the same manufacturer:The cedar scent is very strong and may be too much for some. The wax feels softer and is easier to apply than the vanilla version. In winter I leave the container on the hot-air register overnight so it's soft for use in the morning making it a lot easier to apply.I've also had success placing it on top of my laptop power supply for about 30 min. Makes it soft enough that you can get a thin layer of wax on your finger by just rubbing the surface. This makes the application very easy.

Good wax, better than the rest
I’ve had a handlebar moustache for 2 years and tried a 4 waxes. This one is the stiffest and firmest in hold. Mild scent. Easy to use.
