Ai Ore!, Vol. 2 (Volume 2): Love Me!

This character is Awesome. Love reading this series. The switch leads to very fun and we'll thought out moments and I really want to hear the drama cds. Sounds really cool. This would be a fun little anime too.

Ah! I'm so happy the second volume came in! I had actually forgotten I pre-ordered it (right after reading the first one) and ended up squealing like a little girl when I opened my box to find Ai Ore! In it. Ok so this volume picks up where Akira is coordinating a rape of the girl who nearly raped Mizuki. Mizuki stops him in time (so there you go no actual rape!) and realizes that Akira feels like Mizuki must think he's such a wimp that he can't even protect her. Aww.They are officially going out, but Mizuki still has her own issues to deal with. Apparently she doesn't mind being a `Prince' at her school, but she doesn't want people to think she's a guy, just a really cool girl. The problem is that Akira is cuter than any girl and when they are together he's often mistaken for a girl and Mizuki for a guy. Actually Mizuki's `issues' are getting worse, she's running out on Akira, crying and feeling sorry for herself. At the peak of this Mizuki's neighbor Shinnosuke comes home and he's taller, cuter and bigger than Mizuki (and Akira that's a given) and makes Mizuki think about how she's never mistaken for a guy with Shinnosuke.Ah the second volume was just as good as the first. I love the roles society puts on genders and how Akira and Mizuki both break them. Add to that that there's some nice steamy make out scenes and hilarious dreams, and this manga has it all. There is a small bonus story, maybe four pages total, but it had me rolling on the floor dying from laughing so hard because Akira's personality is so twisted and two sided. All in all it has me anxiously awaiting the third volume and wondering what is next for this duo. Highly Recommend. Enjoy!

This is a really silly cute manga that I am reading while I wait for my pre-order of One Punch Man to come in.

im addicted to this series and im happy about how large the manga are (they shrink ast 3) but are great in both animation and style
