I have older computer i7-4700 (x64), and windows 10. Would this work on this computer?

As long as you have a PCIe slot available, it should work.

If you are running Windows 10, you may not get 6GHz connectivity until the Windows 10 21H2 release comes out which is supposed to support WiFi 6E (6Ghz).    Without this version of Windows 10, you may have to revert to the 22.45 version of the Intel Drivers with a registry tweak to enable 6GHz connectivity.

Is there a warranty on this card?

The product comes with a card with a printed email on it, you email them and they send you a link with a survey of sorts, review the product and they say you get a warrenty and a small gift choice.

How is the reliability on the connection or is that router based? For gaming

I am not a gamer, but I CAN say that this absolutely connects and stays connected for me.    The connection is stable on all bands (6, 5, 2.4) but I keep it on the 6Ghz band now that I have upgraded to Windows 11.

Does some of this have to do with the router?   Yes.   But both have to work well together to provide the stability.

For information only -   I am using a Netgear Orbi RBKE963, have 400/20Mbps level service from my ISP, running Windows 11 on a pretty old PC.   I am maintaining a constant 453Mbps download speed using this card/router combination.

2.4 ghz vs 5 ghz band. i always get lower and not stable internet with 2.4 ghz band regardless of location even with newer router and further back?
