Good accessory for my new spreader
Good hard plastic. Fits snuggly in the hopper. It will be work keeping out the clumps

Needs an extra metal bar or something to make sturdy.
Product fits into spreader well and does the job, but bends and stays deformed with any weight on it (like clumped fertilizer). I had to zip-tie a metal bar across the center and that fixed the issue.

For Dolomite Lime....
I bought this grate, and this spreader also, specifically for the purpose of spreading hundreds of pounds of dolomite lime each year (my soil is very acidic)- very glad to have the grate to sort out the large "rocks" that would ordinarily jam the spreader. It works well. Gets a little bent sometimes, but I just flip it around and I'm back in business.
