Solved the check engine light problem. Many say it's the gas cap. May be part of the problem. this item is easy to replace.

Tapping.
After 6 months, mine is defective. Makes a very loud tapping noise. When I unplug the connector, tapping stops.

Gonna rate this one in the middle because I’m throwing a new code now when I changed both these valves… so can’t be sure if it helped or worsened the issues.. so imma stay neutral on this one.. still don’t recommend

It worked
I wasn't sure this was my problem, but the check engine light stopped coming on after installation, and my gas mileage improved by 2 miles to the gallon. Very easy to install on a 2003 Sorento - it is staring at you when you open the hood. Check youtube for help.

Fit 05 Sorento
Perfect fit for a 2005 Kia Sorento LX. Took about 5 minutes to replace and stopped the check engine light. Don't remember the error code number. Took it to auto zone to have the check engine light read and they told me this part was the problem.
