Arduino Workshop, 2nd Edition

I have to say that I really enjoy using this book throughout my adventure of using the Arduino for the first time. John Boxall does just the right amount of discrete component explanation for a beginner which I am not but still learned some things. With respect to the projects they are well laid out and progress through very simple to more complex. Along the way the author does a very good job of explaining programming details so that you can pick them up and use them potentially in your own projects. On the website that is listed in the book there is a parts list that is helpful. I have to say that I have spent a fair amount of money gathering up the components that are used in the book but it has been well worth the experience and the learning that goes along with it. Very well written, I would highly recommend this book.

VERY helpful! I have been tinkering with Arduino for years and I wish I got this book YEARS ago. Great book, very helpful and explanatory to every lever and filled with great resources. If you are debating it at all, don't. Get this book, you will not be disappointed.

Picked this up to learn more about using arduinos. You cannot go wrong with book. I've learned a lot in a short amount of time. Pick one up now!

Wish it was a bit longer with more examples.
