Great for teaching him to walk without pulling. However, he chewed it up so we got him a sturdier one. Problem solved.

Works amazing for my dog

Delivered on time, product is sturdy, but the leather piece that is supposed to hold it in place on your dog’s head always slips. So I felt that I was constantly having to adjust it in order for it to work properly for my dog.Other than that, it’s a good product as far as strength and durability.

My Malinois is 1 year old. I will use this around my house for quick corrections. The 24” length is a bit short to act as a standalone walking option but it is perfect for a quick correction around the house. I put it on to instruct him and guide him. Then i take it off. I will also use this in combination with his harness when i do go on walks, so that while i use my long leash, i can clip onto this slip-collar and correct behavior on the fly.

I bought this for my 9 week old puppy to get him used to walking on a leash. This seemed safer and more comfortable than starting him on a choke chain.The problem with this is when my puppy pulls it doesn't loosen up. You have to manually make it lose again.

I got these for my big Pit and shepherd dogs for when in public. They are both will behaved but are just too friendly. These are easier on the animal and have just a little give but are very strong. I love that a can color match the chokers to the leash and dog.

I bought this slip collar in a slightly longer length to use as a back-up for the prong collar that I use with my 55 lb. Dutch Shepherd. We also use it with a tab for freestyle obedience. So far, so good. I've had no issues with wear using it 2-5 times a day.

This is my third or fourth collar for training that I have purchased for my young dog. By far it has been the best in quality and in function. And for the price--even a better buy!

These generally come in 2 different sizes, wish I bought a couple more, as my puppy chewed the leather off but I like this collar slip lead a lot, I've had both sizes I prefer the smaller size in girth for my dog but if your dog is butch the the next size up would be great, can't wait for them to have them back in stock.

This is exactly what we were looking for: a robust slip collar that's gentle on the dog's neck, with a sliding 'keeper' that stays in place. Perfect used in harmony with a flexi-lead.

We have this slip collar for our German Shepherd, it fits nicely, does not choke her and does not mark her fur. Would buy again (and probably shall buy a spare one) and can recommend.

I bought these collars several years ago for our lab who swims almost every day. They have worn really well but had become faded and needed replacing.Great value, would recommend

Trying to find one that suits a long haired dog. This one doesn't get the hair caught up in it but it does slip and doesn't stay in place.
