Replaced rickety old chairs with these.

About two years after purchase in a young family of 5. These chairs were necessary for us and this specific model has been a good balance between price, look, and durability. They are still very solid, and I don't think I have had to re-tighten anything on them. We choose a dark finish, and some places/edges these chairs can dent easily and show the light wood underneath. Nothing that is an issue or unexpected to me- just an fyi.

First let me say, these are very nice sturdy chairs. Very well manufactured and easy to assemble. The wood seems very sturdy not like cheap press board and they have some weight to them. However, beware, the color of the mahogany I purchased is very dark, unlike the picture. However, I forgive them of this due to the quality.

I love the sturdiness of the chairs. The black color and cherry seats are just perfect with my decor. I have arthritis in my hands so that is why I gave it 4 stars on the assembly. However the instructions are clear and I had no problem putting them together. It is just hard to tighten down the bolts with arthritis. These are wood and heavy. Perfect. You won’t regret your purchase. I also had very fast shipping.

I only had two comfortable chairs and wanted to have more for guests, so looked around, and couldn't find any that weren't terribly expensive or were basically sight unseen since the stores had no samples. I decided to risk looking on Amazon, and found these. The reviews were helpful, the price was decent, and they looked good in the photos. Crossed my fingers and hit order. They came from Vietnam! Well, they must have been in the warehouse in TX, but originally Vietnam. They are American sized! Yay! I am almost 6' and just under 200 lb. I had a little trouble with the assembly, but I'm 75 with arthritis, and I was able to do it. Everything I needed was included. The little hex key is difficult for me to use, but I just took it a little at a time, and eventually got them together. They seem very sturdy. The only flaw for me is the slight roughness of the finish on the legs and back. The seat is perfect. I so appreciate being able to provide comfortable seating for family and friends around my table.

The chairs are heavy and look great.

Bought a table and 6 chairs and 8 bar stools. Heavy duty and well made and nice looking design. Needed one part and they rushed it to me. Will buy from again !!!

I was looking for a smaller chair for my desk and this chair was perfect. It was easy to assemble and very sturdy after assembly.
