Not great for people with weak hands, but otherwise great.
I got these laces for my 6 year old daughter who has a bit of low muscle tone and weakness in her hands. She struggles to tighten regular laces enough to prevent them from untying. I thought these would be good for her. I'm a little bummed that they're actually quite difficult to loosen and tighten once applied. I don't know if that's just the design of them or if it's because they're new and need to be broken-in. For kids and adults with typical strength in their hands, I think they're great. I do like that I won't have to worry about my daughter tripping due to her laces coming undone. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and I bought some for my nieces and nephews too. I simply don't recommend them if you are buying them for the sole purpose of helping someone with weakness in their hands.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I've tried about every kind of "easy" laces out there for my son, who isn't old enough yet to tie his shoes, and whose laces are constantly coming undone.... Long story short, these are by far the best! Here's why: 1. Non-elasticized laces - Unlike other brands (like Lock Laces), the Greepers laces aren't elasticized, so they go into a shoe like "normal" laces and fit and feel like "normal" laces once the shoe is on. The elastic laces didn't work for my son, because they didn't allow for enough give with on/off and pinched his feet. 2. Simple to install - there is a handy-dandy online video through Greepers that makes installation really easy and quick. No special tools needed, fast and easy to do. 3. Simple to use - Once installed, loosening the laces to get the foot in and out is a snap, and there is plenty of "give" room for on/off... This was the biggest issue I've had with other lace brands, they simply don't allow enough room for getting a (somewhat chunky little boy foot) into and out of the shoe. When dressing a child in a hurry, fighting over getting shoes on because the process hurts little feet is not pleasant...All in all, I liked this product so well in my son's shoes, that I ordered 8 pairs for my own shoes... Yes I know how to tie my shoes, and no, I am neither disabled nor an ultra-able triathlete - I just want to be able to wear lace-up shoes that fit my orthotics and are comfortable AND get them on and off quickly like slip-on shoes for changing shoes coming into the house from outside. These laces give me the best of both worlds (the fit and comfort of "normal" laces, and the ease of use of slip-on shoes).
