Excellent reference manual. Very useful when pulling off parts to make sure you got all of the parts before trying to pry it off. :) Nice illustrations and cutaways. Being a noob to this kind of thing, I'd like to know when I can really bear down on nuts and when I shouldn't. If that information was in there, I didn't find it. It might also be more handy if they had the size information for bolts to make sure one has all of the tools on hand before starting a job. This and some searching on YouTube or the Internet in general can usually get one enough information to take on a wide array of tasks. It is still no substitute for experience or someone that knows what they're doing, but it's the next best thing.

If your a dyi person this books for you

This book is great for a beginner, although some parts assume you know things already. I am a 53 year old mommy and grandma, and I helped my son change out his alternator with help from this book! I know absolutely nothing about cars except how to drive them and put gas in!! My son is 17, and this was his very first car repair. So..I would say this did it's job!! Also, he used it for doing his brakes. Some things don't work for his truck, (he has a 1997 ford ranger) and had a terrible time getting a part off the wheel. We finally figured out all we needed was a MAGNET. The book didn't mention that and it held him up for over a month, but other than that it was ok. All in all, a good book.

Pre-Owned but like the man said Very Good condition. You can see it's used as soon as you take it out of the package but whoever owned it previously never had any dirt or grease on their hands while referencing info from it.Also it has been looked at from cover to cover numerous times and can tell that from how the binding is relaxed. No bent corners except the front cover which is at the top right and not at all large so about as trivial as it gets.No writing or scribbles of any kind in or on it anywhere so not a mark on it.No missing or loose pages and the aforementioned binding is in very sound and secure condition.To me overall it looks like what the condition of a book from a good public library is like.Needless to say I am thoroughly pleased and totally satisfied with this purchase, it's price and the seller.Thank You

Bought one used from Amazon because a new book for these models of cars are hard to find. Bought it cheap and it arrived to me in very good shape. The book itself shows a person step by step how to make repairs on there cars and save thousands of dollars. From changing spark plugs to a complete rebuild. It also covers brakes, fuel injection and how to do little things like change oil and filters, all general maint. I used this book to put two new heads on my wife's explorer and proubly saved 1500 to 2000 dollars. It's a pretty good investment if you want to do some work on your own and save a little money. The book also has a troubleshooting guide to help you detect whats wrong with your car.

Is what it is. Book covers many things but tries to cover too much. Also with all the variants of the vehicles it is trying to cover there are some things that are flat out wrong. Good source , but I would not use it a solo source. Always double check it on web and also just go look at what it is talking about to see if it even close before breaking out any tools and planning a work day.

I was very happy with this product. It has all the diagrams and illustrations one could hope for whether you are changing a tire or rebuilding an engine. I appreciated that not only does it have a great index, but it also has a decent glossary to help beginners use the manual as well as professionals. The steps are easy to follow and there are plenty of tips to save time and effort. I wish I had bought one sooner. It would have saved me a LOT of money.

gostei que nao demorou...e que nao gostei deveria ter mais opcoes pra comprar de fora ex...eua apesar do dolar taxas de cambio e receita que intefere...que nem o manual que so a ford aqui no brasil tem e nao diaponibiliza mesmo que em ingles ...que ficaria mais feliz clato na amazon br vir mais opcoes de fora e com preco bom obvio compra aqui so problema alem do mais tudo paralelo ... mas de geral ta otimo pra mim que tenho uma camioneta importada so a amazon mesmo aem crise 10...

Bestellung, Lieferung alles bestens, gut Dokumentation aber leider alles nur in englisch, bzw. in amerikanischen englisch, um es zu verestehen, benötigt man die jeweilige Fachsprache.
