Dawn Of X Vol. 11

Trying to complete the Dawn of X run and this is how my volume 11 arrived today. Pretty disappointing considering its part of a collection.

Something a little confusing about this collection - it contains the second story from "Wolverine #1" in 2020. A previous volume contained the first part, and so both are shown as containing "Wolverine #1" with the red cover of Wolverine with his suit all torn and his dead friends around him. But they are two distinct stories. The previous was the beginning of the Pale Girl arc, and then this one shows the beginning of the Omega Red arc. It's the more interesting story, with some solid Wolverine-in-a-bar action and the more compelling antagonist.There are two New Mutants issues showing the conclusion of the nightmare arc wherein the New Mutants rescue a very strange young mutant from a fictional former Soviet nation. The depiction of the girl's powers is interesting though the story plays out in a fairly mundane way. No memorable character beats. The Excalibur issue is very confusing, showing an alternate version of the team, though that isn't even clear until the end of the issue. And then the two Hellions issues continue that book's strong debut, with a really funny interaction between Empath and Scalphunter and then some decent characterization of Madelyne Pryor. I have never really liked that character, so I'd rather they just not bring her back, but I'm interested to see where the story goes.
