AQUA GREEN 15508 Compatible with Kenmore 15508, MAF2 Humidifier Replacement Wick Filter - 2-Pack

I've had my humidifier for over 10 years and only run it during winter months. I change my filter each year before turning it on. That being said, each filter I've replaced has always lasted until Spring. I purchased these Aqua Green's and received 2 filters. I thought great, one for this year and another for next year, I was mistaken. It's now February and both filters have failed to last. Each filter quit absorbing water. This was not a good deal at all, and now I am going to have to make another purchase to finish out the winter. They did however fit good, so I'll give credit were credit is due.

These filters have a life span of a month or so and lose their ability to stand up during that time frame. After 2 to 3 weeks they are sagging pretty badly so cleaning the pan or flipping the filters over becomes a lot more difficult. I added small wire ties to the closure end and that helped tremendously in rinsing them and removing mineral buildup. They last about a month if you flip them daily and clean them every 5 or 6 days.

Saved a trip to the box store trying to fi nd the right filter

This filter for my humidifier holds up better than the other brands I'd been buying. By flipping it (when I notice my humidifier isn't putting out the moisture as much); I get at least a month's use out of one filter.

I put in and had my humidifier show needed to be changed in 2 weeks.
