Austin (Romance & Revolutions Book 2)

I.... I have no words. I mean it's Shaw Montgomery so is anyone really suprised? No. She's a godess. But, being that this has been my most anticipated read, I went in with a little bit of fear that my hopes were going to be too high. I fell in love with Austin after reading the prequel and I knew he was going to be my favorite character because, to put it simply, Austin is me. I love my shy sweet characters as much as the next human but it's the loud and flirty and dramatic ones that will always have my heart because it's like looking into a mirror haha. I adore Austin with every fiber of my being and so much of him and me are the same that it's a little scary. So as eager and excited as I was to read this there was the tiniest bit of trepidation. I realize now that was beyond silly of me because this book is perfect.I have literally read just about everything Shaw Montgomery has written (definitely read everything she has written under her pen name MA Inns) but when I say Austin is my favorite character she has ever written I'm not being dramatic. And because Austin and I are basically the same, I think Silas is my favorite Dom/ top she has ever written as well. And before we get any further, there's the smut. What can I say about the smut? It's beyond hot, honestly sweet, gorgeously written, but also so kinky that oh sweet lord. Y'all need to get yourself a fan or something because Shaw was coming for us in this one. It's real good but also real dirty. But I'm into that so.As far as the overall story goes, I loved it. I really love the friends group here. Their dynamics had me in stitches. The drunk scene alone had me dying. And can I just say that often times when books center around a rather large group and have scenes featuring every single one of those characters, things can get really muddy really fast. Sometimes characters blend, sometimes you don't know who's who or what's going on or who's talking or anything. No such thing happens here. Shaw Montgomery has written six men that are all vastly different from each other, with vastly different significant others, you are a hundred percent know who each one of them is. She could probably write an entire thing of dialogue never stating who is speaking and I would know right away whose who. They are that defined and that different from one another.Yeah, I'm gonna call it. I know we're only two books in but this is my favorite series she has ever written. And that is saying something coming for me because I love just about everything this woman has written. Or maybe that's not saying much at all since I've basically admitted to being a raging fangirl haha. Tl;dr if you are into omegaverse pick this up. If you're into BDSM pick this up. If you are into fun and flirty and loyal to a fault characters getting their love story pick this up. You won't be disappointed. 40 stars because so often characters like Austin become nothing more than just the dramatic best friend to the MC. It's nice to finally see US get our love story.

This book was a quick read. If you've read Tanner, the book before this one in the series, you'll know a lot about Austin going into this one. The relationship in this one is Master/slave instead of Dom/sub like the prior book.

I skipped this one for a long time because Austin is sooo... out there. I was insanely curious about how he and Silas got together but outrageous, bratty characters can be insufferable if not done well. Now I am super sad I waited so long!Austin was over the top, but not in an annoying way. It was such a tight line to walk because I could see him jumping into annoying so easily but he always stayed on the endearing side. Silas was kinda gruff but in an amazingly balanced way. As different as they are the story and characters were so well crafted I could really buy them being together.Glad I finally gave it a chance, I think this book really showcases Shaw Montgomery's talent in an amazing way. Instant favorite!

I loved that Silas was a romantic at heart, at least that's the way I see him and my perception of him. The boys night in party and the moving furniture!! Lol. Hilarious. I enjoyed watching Silas and Austin strategize on the fly to thwart the bad copsfor terrorizing them and the novelty shop. Genius. Can't wait to see who the hot chauffeur ties up with and who Jonah lands as a partner. Each guy is my favorite as I read the story.

Just like those famous potato chips - you can't just read one of this series! You will end up reading all of them and wishing there were more! Highly recommended.

I knew Austin's story would wonderful and I was so right. I love Silas and Austin together. It was nice to see the real side of Austin not just the flirt that he shows. I so want Wade's story but I have a feeling it is going to one of the last told. So I will happily read whichever Characters story that comes next!

I'm so in love with bratty Austin. He had me cracking me with all the stuff that came out of his mouth, especially a drunk Austin. And Silas knew how to control him without smothering Austin's awesome personality. And he knew exactly what to give Austin to make him happy...a safe place to be himself and all the kink he craved. They are so sexy HOT together. I'm so hooked on this series....full of kink, humor, different loveable personalities, and love. I'm already anxiously awaiting for the next one 💕💕

I'm in love with this series! Shaw Montgomery gives us a her take on the Omegaverse and it's world that is very easy to get lost in. This book is about Austin and Silas. Austin is a very smart business man and a very bratty sub. He is perfect for the grumpy "novelty store owner" Silas. This story is deliciously sexy and hot as the group of friends continue to work on opening thier "Social Club"!I can't wait to see who is next in the series.

We met both Austin and Silas in Tanner’s book. Austin is the wild and crazy omega who is always in the public eye for his stunts. We also saw in book one how much he loves his friends. Silas is the grumpy adult novelty toy owner (that’s very important distinction in this world!) who turns out to be the perfect Dom for the bratty boy that Austin is.I loved this book as much as the first. It built on the whole idea of the club as the process of getting it built is coming on as all the guys work on it. It also built on the whole politics of the world and the things that omegas couldn’t do (all in the name of omega equality of course). I loved Silas and Austin together, Silas was the perfect foil for Austin’s outrageousness and Austin was just what Silas needed. Like all of Shaw Montgomery’s characters, they really come alive. All of the side characters are interesting too. I love all of the gang of Austin’s friends and can’t wait for them all to get their stories. I loved finding out more about Graham, and the introduction of Clay has also left me wanting.Shaw Montgomery is one of only a few authors I will automatically buy books from without even knowing what the book is about because I know I’m guaranteed a fantastic read, with realistic characters and a story that will leave me wanting more. As always a definite must read!

I loved this story. Austin was just perfect and this series sets up what I hope are several more books.Austin is the exuberant rich man Silas has seen on social media, the butterfly people love or hate. But underneath everything is his true heart, which he only shows to those he really trusts and cares for.Silas is gentle and kind when he needs to be, but dominating and strong for both Austin and with Austin. It just felt like a perfect match up.

I loved this book, Austin is one of my favourite characters he is sweet, caring and insane. Silas is perfect for him, the author pulls you into her stories and holds you hostage to the end and the fact that this book is low angst is just right for me. Off for the next one in the series.
