Perfect for what I needed! If you are looking for a fan for an entire room, look somewhere else. This is the perfect little fan for a bedside table or your desk. It creates a good breeze for its size and isnt very loud. The fan can be angled to various heights. It has a forward facing control so no trying to reach behind it to turn it off or on. Its a great little fan!

I tend to run warm and always need fans nearby, and this one is perfect for a desk. It looks great, operates quietly, and pushes an impressive amount of air for its small blade size. However, it’s designed for personal use, so you’ll need to keep it fairly close to feel the airflow. I keep mine about 18 inches away on my desk, and it works perfectly in that setup. The design prevents it from blowing document on my desk. Keep in mind that this fan won’t cool a room, other people —it’s really a "personal" fan. If you’re looking for something to use next to a stationary bike or to cool multiple people, this isn’t the right choice. But for desk use in a small area where the fan is no more than two feet away, it’s excellent. There are two speed settings. The low setting is almost silent but doesn’t produce much airflow unless you’re extremely close (12 inches or closer). The high setting is much more effective for desk use. Bonus points for the stylish retro green color—I love it!

I Would likely give this a 3.5 star review, but I do not have that option. Solid built unit, but hardly up to the standard that Vornado fans were many years ago. That aside it is a nice enough fan if you are sitting very close to it and need a little air in close quarters or for travel. Downside to me was it probably doesn't push enough air. It has 2 speeds and the low is just somewhat detectable. The bigger issue is the speed switch itself. Located along the bottom base it is decidedly difficult to use as you can move the whole fan easier that adjusting the switch itself. a smaller rotary switch in a more easy to access location would have been much better in my opinion. Still, at the price point and if you need portability, its a fair enough buy as long as you don't need a lot of air pushed and are ok messing with the speed/off switch.

Cute little thing. I own a larger model , but purchased this one because of its compact size to bring along during my national and international travels.I need the white noise and delicate breeze it offers to sleep a peaceful night

UPDATE: I contacted Amazon for a replacement, since I bought the fan as a "today's deal." After checking, the service rep told me they didn't offer replacements for "these items". It turns out that what I thought was a new fan was actually an open box item, which was why it was a deal. This probably explains the black fan in the blue box. To get close to the deal price, I could return my item and buy a "like new" fan. According to the Amazon assessor, like new means that it "looks and functions as if it were new." I ordered one and when I received the fan, it was blue (yay!), but it was apparent that Amazon's idea of "like new" diverged greatly from mine. When the fan was in a 90° angle, the top and both sides had small scuffs and scratches. Not big gouges, just enough to let you know that it had been dropped around the block a few times. This is not what I would call like new. But it does work (at least the same as the other fan), and it is blue. I'm not sure it's worth it to spin the wheel again. Despite helpful Customer service, the stars remain the same. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Ordered the midnight blue color, received a black fan. It was interesting that the fan pictured on the box looks midnight blue, but it does not state the color anywhere on the box. And the fan in the box is definitely black. There goes one star. The fan itself is sturdy and well made. The bottom feet help keep it in place, as well as the weight, because this is not a flimsy fan. The head tilts manually from straight up to straight down, but not easily; it took two hands for me. It also takes two hands to move the ridiculous dial at the base that controls the power and the speed. The only saving grace is the dial is in the front of the fan base and not the back. The fan has two speed settings, marked I & II, for low and high. The low setting is pretty much useless unless you're very close to the fan. However, it is nearly silent on this setting. The high setting is better about moving air, and it doesn't get much noisier either. But this fan will only cool a small space, which is somewhat disappointing for its size. There are smaller, less expensive desktop fans that can do the same job. Overall, I rated it 3 stars.

It is compact, I like that the head swivels up and down. I can adjust where it hits. It has two levels, I use the low one mostly. I did not look to see if it was re-chargeable, it’s not. I was thinking it was but it works. I hate so many cords around these days. The switch to turn it, on and off, high and low is tight, kind of awkward spot and you need to get a grip to do it. It is not quiet, we have all adjusted but it is not a Dyson. Haha I’d buy it again. It keeps me cool when I can’t turn the air to zero.

Great little fan to have at your desk if you work at the desk. Otherwise, I could still see it being useful blowing on you, maybe on an end table. Really moves air

V low air throw, for the price, it's just a normal fan.

This is a good compact fan, I have it on a shelf over my desk, pointed downwards. On the lower settings the noise is fine. On the highest setting I think it would be too loud for regular use. It can move quite a bit of air. It does what I wanted it to and it has a nice design.

It’s cute and small and blows a nice stream of cool air. It has two speed settings and I like how you can adjust the direction. Definitely helped me sleep during a massive heat wave. It’s very quiet which is a major bonus.
