Have any of you noticed a clicking sound and feel when you turn the faucet on and off?

My issue right out of the box was a small amount of water seeping out between the top decorative cap and the spout and then stopping.this should not happen so Moen tech support is sending me a cartridge and several seals to replace.I am new to this faucet but i do know that part of what you are describing is a bad cartridge. Call Moen tech support and tell them the problem, i am sure they will send you a cartridge ( these are free for the life of the faucet) and whatever parts they feel you might need.I have owned Moen faucets for over 30 years and never had a problem until this new one.

Does this faucet use a ceramic cartridge? If so are there any faucets which do not?

Not all Moen faucets have ceramic cartridges. Usually, the under-$200 faucets don't (which is true for most faucet manufacturers). We should probably call Moen to find out for certain.
