Highly adjustable, great for a retrofit.
Former homeowners left me a dirty old storm door laying face-down in the front lawn covered in splotches of paint, nail polish, old chewing gum and dirt. It had a lot of potential though- full length glass with a white frame. I decided to refurbish it by removing it and cleaning it from top to bottom. I also replaced the ugly brass hardware with satin nickel hardware. As a final icing on the cake, I replaced the thick, misaligned brass door sweep with this one. It's really nothing fancy at all - it appears to be made of either vinyl or PVC. It comes slightly over-sized so I had to cut it to size with a hacksaw. I assume they do this to ensure that it fits on most doors. It is adjustable to the thickness of your door - my storm door is about 1.25" thick and I was able to retrofit it perfectly. Since my original door sweep had quite a bit more height to it than this one (this one rises about 1.5" from the bottom on the front side and 1.25" from the bottom on the back side) I drilled new holes for this door sweep and plugged the old ones with caulk. I would probably recommend drilling new holes in most cases, as it is the best way to ensure that the bottom of the sweep makes a complete seal with the bottom of the door frame. The screw holes on the sweep are oblong to allow for a little bit of vertical adjustment as well. Anyways, the sweep blends in really well with the storm door and at the end of my little project, I ended up with what looks (in my opinion) just as good as a brand new storm door.

Cheap but works ok. I guess.
Installs easy enough. I cut to length hacksaw. Screws and holes only provided on one side. I drilled and screwed other side as well. Did not feel like unscrewed side would hold up. I am not sure about the locking together bottom either. Seems a little cheap. I feel like this dhould be an $8 item not $17. Pretty cheap.

Way too big for a storm door
This will not fit a storm door like it claims to. It will probably work on a regular door just fine.
