It is a good tool for educational opportunities and curious kids.Because it is winter we can't find many ants around, and the ones we found died. We're waiting to find bigger ants when the weather warms a little more.It's smaller than I thought, but I didn't pay attention to the measurements.

This was a gift for my grandson and was a fun science project. We spent quite a lot of time looking at what the ants were doing and where they went. It is good to have that special area to put the food and water in. It makes it accessible but not easy for the ants to get out. Adults and children can use it without a lot of hassle. It is necessary for the children to have adults put the ants in and for there to be supervision.

It's smaller than I thought but still very nice didn't come with the hose or yellow sponge still nice to bad it didn't come with ants lol

We went into our driveway and found a colony of ants and got four that were large enough that they wouldn't get through the air holes they lasted 3 weeks we fed them blueberries strawberries peanut butter and some crackers they brought a bunch of tunnels I have to re actually poked holes in it worked awesome!

My daughter is so excited for this we just have to find a place that will ship ants to Canada now lol
