This is the best dry food I've ever tried on my little 2 year old frenchie I've went through almost every dry food you could get she only lasts about 1 week eating this but this she loves her coat is so soft and her poops are perfect I would definitely recommend this to anyone with fussy eaters the only problem is everytime I go to order it again it's temporarily out of stock which is a bit of a disappointment might need to find another company for insect protein that always has stock.

Update - our dog's allergies meant he had itchy "hot spots" that he continually licked, often leaving the skin raw, and also a few strange lumps. We didn't think these all might have been linked to allergies, but we are now seeing, after three weeks, a massive improvement. It's a little disconcerting that these long term problems could have been so easily solved by feeding him insects. We are over the moon. We have obviously made a bunch of changes to his diet, but we are certain this insect dog food is the basis for these improvements. Apparently, our dog is allergic to chicken, beef, lamb, and a range of other common dog food ingredients. A friend suggested we try him on an insect based diet. So here we are. We bought the food and snacks from the same people. I guess the most important bit is he loves this food and eats every morsel. It's expensive, but a lot less expensive than the many trips to the vet. So if it works and the allergies recede we will be very happy, as I am sure our dog will be.

I say pups, one's 2 and the others 7 so only in spirit. The older one has a sensitive tummy & she's loved this. The young one will just about force it down with a topper but he's definitely not keen.

First time I’ve ever written a review but am so amazed. I have an 11 yr old very fussy eater mixed small breed dog Tati. There is nothing she likes , only tolerates, and I have tried everything over the years. Meat and vegan. I was looking for another Vegan alternative or more ethical alternative that I hadn’t tried yet and came across this. At least it avoids the horrible abattoirs I thought so bought the 2kg box which is on offer at the moment. It’s just arrived and I tentatively offered her a few pieces and she woofed them down. Thought that might be a fluke so tried a few more - same again. I had been planning on introducing it gradually but she was begging for a small bowl full and I’ve never ever known her to look like she was really enjoying her food before. I think this maybe a winner!

We have a 1 year old cockapoo who is intermittently fussy with food. We have in recent years become a lot more convious about the environment and we have made a lot of switches in our lifestyle to be more 'green'. This was one of the switches I've wanted to try as it is significantly better for the planet due to being sustainable insect protein, and significantly reduced CO2 production due to it not being from meat and the way in which they press the food (as I understand). We were tentivite about her liking it, and definitely ready to switch back if she didn't (we can help save the planet in other ways!), so we bought the 2kg bag and since introducing her to it, we have had no fuss at all. She wolf's it down, her poos are of normal and good consistency and she seems completely happy in herself! I would 100% recommend this to any dog owner!

Can’t quite believe it. My very elderly, very fussy dog had previously claimed he couldn’t possibly eat any kibble whatsoever. He insisted on a diet of expensive wet food which he would go off and demand a new brand every couple of weeks. Anyway I got this because it’s small kibble and he is a small dog with some teeth missing and I thought I might be able to sneak it into his wet food. Not only did that work but he will also eat a whole bowl of this on its own and eat them as treats while out on walks. Turns out that what he wanted all along was insects. I am also happy that I have reduced the environmental impact of his meals as well.

I ordered this for our brand new puppy at 10 weeks old and tried it for a few days. We immediately changed his diet as we noticed he was lethargic and had runny poos from this food. I'm really gutted as I'm vegan and wanted to get my puppy the best possible diet on a vegeterian diet. However, after trying this, I just don't think it's possible to have a happy dog on this diet. Unhappy that I fed this to my puppy and made him ill and the money spent that could have gone elsewhere.

Review wanted to know about flavour and sturdiness. I'm not eating it so can't comment on the flavour. Sturdiness? Really? Sturdiness of what - the kibble? The packaging? Which I might add is totally excessive. Really strong cardboard outer carton that is a devil to get into (and which immediately gets thrown) and a re-sealable bag holding the kibble. There is NO NEED FOR THE BOX. Bought 2 x 2kg of this to try. Be warned, it's on offer because the stock has a very short shelf life! Mine (bought mid Jan 2022) has a BBF date of 21/3/2022. Not happy. If I'd paid £19.99 for 2kg of this I'd be absolutely outraged. Paying £9.99 I'm still not impressed. Won't buy again even if the dog loves it. Carbon pawprint or no, I'm not paying £20 for 2kg of dog food!

Il mio cucciolo osserva una dieta per intolleranze alimentari, e il veterinario mi ha consigliato questo mangime. Sono molto appetibili per il mio cane, lui le adora! Mi trovo molto bene con la confezione in formato da 2kg.

Das ist ja mal ein außergewöhnliches Hundefutter: Es enthält keine tierischen Viehbestandteile, also kein Huhn, Rind, Schwein oder dergleichen. Die tierische Proteinquelle sind getrocknete Insekten! Das Futter besteht aus einer Mischung von pflanzlichen Zutaten und Insektenprotein. Geliefert wird ein großer Sack mit 10kg Trockenfutter in Linsenform. Die Linsen haben einen Durchmesser von ca. 14mm, sind also auch gut für kleinere Rassen geeignet. Der Hersteller gibt an, dass das Futter für mittelgroße und großen ausgewachsene Hunde geeignet ist. Der Sack ist wieder verschließbar. Das ist recht praktisch. Ich war gespannt, wie das Futter von Percuro unserem Collie schmecken wird. Es schmeckt ihm sehr gut und ich bin zufrieden! Er ist ganz schön wählerisch und frisst nicht gerade alles. Aber dieses Trockenfutter mit Insektenprotein mag er tatsächlich gerne. Da wird der Napf problemlos bis zum letzten Krümel leer gefressen. Auf dem Futterbeutel sind alle Bestandteile des Futters aufgelistet, sodass man sich einfach über die Zusammensetzung informieren kann. Neues Futter handhabe ich immer so, dass ich es nach und nach verwende, d.h. die ersten Tage gemischt mit dem bisherigen Futter. So hat der Körper Zeit, um sich daran zu gewöhnen. Wie bei allem Trockenfutter ist es natürlich wichtig, dass immer genügend Wasser zum Trinken zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Unser Hund verträgt das Futter gut, er hat keine Blähungen und es sättigt ihn ausreichend. Es ist definitiv eine sehr umweltfreundliche Proteinquelle für unseren Planeten und enthält kein traditionelles Fleisch. Eine tolle Alternative! Kaufempfehlung von mir! My 9 months toy poodle puppy always had gastro issues and the poop was watery. From day 1 of consuming this food his stomach issues are gone and the poop is perfect. He likes the food and eats it all although he is a picky eater. I'm not sure about the nutrition level but he seems to be happy and energetic. Highly recommended!!!
