How often does filter need to be replaced?

I had a hard time finding a reference to the filters ( 7 x 2-1/8 inches in size), so the replacement filter model number is Broan 97009563 (even for the Nu-Tone identical fan model 682NT) and a package of 4 is available for around $12 at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076F8SRXY However the filter material is pretty thin and the metal filter frame is pretty flimsy, I would just buy cut-to-size activated charcoal sheets and reuse the metal filter frame (with old charcoal cut out) to help hold the new charcoal sheet in place, like this example at around $12 with enough material for 48 replacement filters! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AESC8VW

Does this come with the adjustable sliding mount brackets as required for a suspended (drop) ceiling?

No - it's designed to mount to a floor joist

Can this appliance be used in singapore? the voltage in singapore is 220v/240v, does it mean i need additional transformer?

My guess would be "no". A 110v motor will burn-up instantly on a 220v circuit.

What size bathroom is this unit designed for?

The size of the room doesn't really matter, sadly, because the fan is basically just for show. (It's duct-free and uses only a tiny filter screen for purported odor removal, so it's honestly pretty useless. It just lazily circulates the air inside the room without really processing it at all.) But if, like me, you have a bathroom that was built without any ductwork, then this at least offers a convincing illusion of an exhaust fan. :/
