Thud!: Wile E. Coyote Experiments With Forces and Motion (Warner Brothers: Wile E. Coyote, Physical Science Genius)

I teach physical science to high schoolers who don't want to take science but need a graduation credit. This book series is great for them because it teaches facts without being boring. I don't use these as a textbook, but I encourage students to look through the books as a supplement to their learning.

We are regular users of the public library but when I find something there that really catches my child's eye, I purchase it.This is great if you have a kid who loves science and roadrunner and coyote cartoons. It does a wonderful job explaining the science behind coyote's experiments. Now, when we watch the cartoons, my son is explaining to me why coyote's idea is going to fail and how he could improve upon it.Check out the other books in the series. They are just as great!

Fantastic! Very fun introduction to physics for youngsters. Covers lots of info without ever getting dull or boring, mostly because it all comes at the expense of poor Wile E. My boys (5 and 8) love it!

This series of book is just great! My physics loving kids (ages 5, 7, & 9) read them over and over again!
