Total crap. Bought two. Both failed at the fitting end within 2 days. Tried to repair one using a hose clamp to reattach to the hose barb. That worked but the hose then failed in the middle. We have good water pressure, but not excessive. Don't buy this.

Love it! So much easier than dragging a regular hose around. The spray nozzle that comes with it is great. It has many settings and is easy to change. I got the 100' hose so it goes everywhere I need it to. This hose is very sturdy and yet lightweight. Would definitely recommend it. UDATE: unfortunately the hose sprung a leak after using for a few months. I contacted the company through Amazon. They sent me a brand new one and it arrived very quickly. You just can't go wrong!

The first time I tried putting the sprayer on it fell apart and I couldn't put it back together again and it hasn't been resolved since.

I reviewed the 75-foot hose which I had received free for review, but I bought this one at the regular price. I like it a lot, but it developed a leak right at the nozzle-end of the hose and it's not repairable. The manufacturer says they'll replace it but they have had no stock for a month, so I am still waiting.Edit: October 8, 2016Replacement received - works fine for now. My wife is suspicious that the leak was caused by a chipmunk's bite rather than a flaw in the hose.

The expandable hose idea is wonderful, however, my 100 ft. one that I purchased burst within the first six months. It may be fine on grass, but I have plants all around my pool area so It was being dragged on a fairly smooth concrete pool deck. I wouldn't purchase again unless only using on grass.

I was offered a free 100 foot expandable hose for my objective evaluation and unbiased review. I am writing my initial impressions of the ease of use and quality of the product. I attached it to my back wall faucet and must say that the brass fittings are very nice and thread easily. I had no leaks even when I turned the water to maximum pressure. I found it interesting to watch this hose expand as it filled with water and then shrink back down when I turned off the faucet and sprayed out what was left inside the hose. It indeed expands and retracts -- and that feature makes it so easy to rewind on the holder and to carry around to the front or side yards as needed. This hose expands up to 3 times its shrunken length when you turn on your faucet. As a bonus, the package included a heavy duty, ergonomic grip, 8-function spray nozzle and a wall-mounted hook to make storage even easier. The "hook" , however, is made of fairly cheap plastic that is not really big enough to hold this hose so I haphazardly looped it on there. I think a metal holder would make this product even more attractive to a buyer. It weighs less than 3 pounds when dry and empty. The nozzle works well enough though I tend to just use the same spray functions over and over.I've got a huge yard and I have purchased so many hoses over the years -- high price ones and cheapo ones -- and I am really interested to see how this holds up over time. There are cautions about making sure that the hose is empty and keeping it out of strong sunlight. Of course you'd put it away for the winter as with any outside hoses. Don't drink from it!! And don't connect it to a hot water faucet. I detach the spray nozzle from the hose when I'm done using it as it allows the water to drain more quickly and also so I don't have to worry about the valve being in the correct position -- which should be turned to ON when not using in case all the water has not drained out. ALSO, you should not use this type of hose with a power washer! And I do a lot of power washing so will still need a regular hose as this one won't replace that need.The company that makes this hose guarantees that it will "NEVER KINK, TANGLE, LEAK OR BURST" because of its proprietary design and the seller is very responsive to feedback and any difficulties or problems are addressed promptly if you contact them.The reason I deducted a star is because, although I like it well enough so far, I do not know how it will hold up over heavy duty use and time and reserve the right to update my experiences with it -- either positively or negatively. So far, so good.

The hose is a piece of expandable JUNK! Used it twice and it fell apart at the brass fitting, and of course it was out of warranty for return. "Rated" #1 as CRAP.
