♦LIKED: Great read, detailed pictures, covers main parts and systems of the body, isn't too "dumbed down" for kids, formatted well, every important subject that is introduced accompanies an an illustration, illustrations with certain parts of the picture being noted, and colorful pages for the kids. ♦DISLIKED: Nothing really.I received this product for free. It was a great read even though it was geared for kids. I think anyone reading this book would come out of with some important knowledge. The pictures were really detailed and fit perfectly with what was being talked about. If I was a kid reading this I would feel like I was actually learning something and seeing what parts of the body the section was talking about. The book also isn't too dumbed down for kids. They used elevated language but nothing that is really hard to understand. There seems to be a healthy balance between readability and important knowledge. For example some big words like cardiovascular system can't be avoided because thats what the cardiovascular system is called. The book was formatted very well! Each subject was followed by a crucial illustration that shows what is being talked about. Ive seen other ebooks that dont have illustrations and they are pretty hard to read if you're aren't super interested. Another important feature of this book is that there are some diagrams where there is a specific part of the body being noted. These are perfect as the kids can possibly quiz themselves on the part of the body by covering up the pointers. The colorful pages were definitely a plus as well! Kids have a short attention span so a color page can at least catch their eye. Great book! Would recommend for kids!

This is a good, basic book that covers the systems of the body and explains what they are and what they do. It doesn't go into great detail but gives a general overview and definition of each system. There are also images with parts labeled for each section. I did find it strange that for the reproductive system, the female image was not labeled and only mentioned the uterus and ovaries, while the male image was extremely labeled and included all the appropriate parts, even the bladder. Talk about biased. That should have been done better.Overall, it's appropriate for ages 7-9. It does have good general information but you might have to fill in a few holes.I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Although I have reviewed a few other books as well as some electronic related items, this is my first "school" type book for learning. I chose to download this book for multiple reasons, the first one being that my children are at the age where they are beginning to learn about the human anatomy and thought that this could be a decent guide to help them get started before they needed to. Although this book does not include actual pictures of the human anatomy and physiology (which I was not sure of by the title of the book), it does include decent pictures that will allow your child to get a pretty good grasp of what the part of the body may actually look like in real life. The information in the book is also decent, giving basic information on the body and its anatomy and physiology but not too much information to make it seem inappropriate for your child. I do, however, wish that the book would give you an age or grade range for who should or could read this book as some may feel that it is too much or not enough information depending on the child and their parent.Overall this book is a good read for any child that is heading into or just starting with the human body and anatomy.I received this book for free in order to review it. It's always interesting to view anatomy of the human body. The author has given me an opportunity to review this item for free for an honest review which I will share with you. This e-book is very concise-less than 30 pages--colorful and educational for parents. It's a good summary of various aspects of the human body which will could be helpful to older students, parents and adults. I noticed that the book is targeting children which it doesn't specify the age group. If we're talking about high school or maybe middle school age, fine, if we're talking about any younger, this book uses all the medical terms for anatomy and high vocabulary so it might not be helpful and confusing to young children. This e-book is an Amazon feature for free so it's worth it for the price. I didn't know what the author will charge after that - so I would recommend to the author - please specify what age group of children you're targeting - if it's young children I would recommend changing the vocabulary in the book. Parents - if you are buying it for your young children - you will want to read it ahead of time, and read along with you children and explain anything that's confusing.

Well first of all let me say that you do not have to worry about a delivery day on these books because they are able to be downloaded right then and there. You’ll have your e-books without a problem. I got these books for my son and daughter to read. Well let me tell you this after I read some of them myself I picked up on a few things that I myself did not know. This books is very educational and informational. This book is very well illustrated. The pictures are clear, bright and vivid and depending on the age of the child some of the words can be challenging which is a good thing. It gives the child who is reading the book something to strive for. This type of book will keep any child’s attention with just the beautiful pictures alone. The large font size and well-spaced layout makes this an easier read for beginning readers.I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
