My 15 pound Snowshoe Siamese is a large cat, and she fits perfectly inside this! It's very comfy and large - no weird smells right out of the package - and she jumped in right away and started kneading/attacking the inside walls. The really nice thing about this is; her claws of death don't penetrate through to the other side...so it's easy to play with her, without fear of being punctured in the hand. Well made, thick, and easily moveable....don't hesitate to purchase this! Also, the chocolate color is so nice and natural looking...I LOVE IT!

I loved the idea of this cat cave, especially for my one cat who likes to sleep in closets where it's warm, soft, and dark. Going by the posted measurements (7"-8" opening), I ordered one large enough for a 15 lb cat. However, what I got was huge - opening was 9" and could easily fit both big boys together, making it not very cozy. Each one went in briefly, but then never again. So disappointed - the quality is excellent and it worked with our decor, which is why I gave the item itself 5 stars. But 3 stars for accuracy of the description. Appreciated the fast refund!

This cat cave is sturdy enough to hold up to scratching and the colors are beautiful. It is exactly how it's described, but my kitten isn't a fan. I bought it because he was skittish so I thought he'd like to have a place to hide.. apparently hanging out on my couch with me is good enough for him..

I put a very fuzzy blanket in there for my cat and some cat nip. With in 3 minutes of unpacking it she was in it and I didn’t see her again for 4 hours!!! She just came out for a snack and right back in she went. This is great! My dog climbed in as I was unwrapping it. So I have to buy her one as well. It is kinda on the big side. But with the fuzzy blanket in there it’s perfect. Love it!!!! Buy 2!!! And the pink is just as vibrant as pictured. It’s great!!!
