Great for any nautical enthusiasts.
The binoculars themselves are great. The case is a bit big, but well made & a total surprise. My only issue is they are covered in Christopher Columbus iconography; a quote, an image of Columbus and his ship. The preview images & video only showed an image of a tall ship with a maker's name, but all four of the brass covers have an image. Still happy with the actual binoculars, but would have been happier if they were blank.

Cute as heck.
Great for my pirate motif.

Neat as a trinket collectable
Definitely a decor piece functionally useless. The artificial patina is unevenly applied effectively declaring it's faux nature as opposed to enhancing the appeal a nice look at piece.

Cool conversation piece!
It's not very functional, but I purchased it because of it's unique retro-steampunk look. Perfect on my bookshelf!

A bit flimsy but OK.
A bit flimsy but OK. My one real complaint are the illustrations all over it. It takes away from its authenticity. If that's what they were trying to achieve. These were originally meant as opera glasses.
