Sun Hood Shade for Black Pearl RC801 FPV Monitor Receiver (Flysight-SH801)

I had recently purchased a used DJI Phantom Quadcopter. With that purchase came a RC801 Black Pearl Rx/Monitor with a broken clip on sunshade. This is my second Black Pearl and my other one had a nice folding all-in-one sunshade. In my search for a suitable replacement, and being unable to locate a folding sunshade I had contacted the makers of the black pearl, Shenzhen.Within minutes Shenzhen had listed this sunshade as a replacement independent of having to buy an entire black pearl rx/screen. I really appreciate the level and promptness of customer service I had received.The product itself arrived quickly, several weeks sooner than the anticipated arrival date, it was well packaged and in perfect functioning condition. The sun shade attaches securely to my Black Pearl, without fear of sliding off or coming loose. The sun shade folds out quickly conveniently when in use and when closed it protects the surface of the monitor from incurring damage inside of a case or travel bag. The effectiveness in the sun is great. Honestly I would not even try squinting at a screen in daylight without having a shade, it makes a world of difference. I feel the cost is worth the advantage in viewing the monitor, still you will want the sun in front of you instead of behind you when using this.

This add-on is about one of the best ideas I seen in a while. I have two Black Pearl RC801's for going on 5 years now.But stopped using the supplied 3 piece hood/shade due to the flimsiness. I'm getting on more as a spare.Great add-on Flysight!

Really like this sun screen better than any others I've tried, it fits the black pearl perfectly and still allows access to all the antenna mounts, a/v ports, charger ports, and buttons. It mounts solid and folds completely flat, reducing chances of breakage during storage and transport.

Bought a use Black Pearl from the internet and it didn't come with the sun shade. This fits my Black Pearl perfectly! Shipping was reasonably fast. Highly recommend this as it's a replacement for the original hood.
