Hold Successful Meetings (Penguin Business Experts Series)

A useful, easy read.
During my career, and in my own business I’ve experienced many ineffective, boring meetings so I was curious to find out what this book suggests to have successful meetings. There are many valuable pointers and take-aways in this book. I immediately realised I was trying to do too many different things in a meeting. What I’ll be doing differently in future is to consider whether a real time meeting is actually necessary for a particular outcome? The reason for the meeting needs to be crystal clear so you can put in place a process to ensure you achieve the goal of the meeting. Is it a brainstorming meeting, or are you trying to reach a final decision on something? Perhaps these need to be two different types of meeting. The goal of the meeting should be clear to every participant and should be achievable. I got real clarity as I read the first few chapters. This is a useful book that’s easy to read. Highly recommend it.

This book will help you stop meeting madness
This book has been an eye opener as to how we can all have successful meetings and meeting etiquette that we all need to improve on for both face to face and virtual meetings. I absolutely recommend Caterina's 4D framework to run our meetings as it does give clarity and focus we all need. Meetings are supposed to provide clarity rather than leave us confused.

At last - a book that addresses how to actually make meetings work for your business
Meetings happen is virtually every business and organisation; yet we don’t ever pay attention to how to make them effective. This book is beautifully written and provides a huge amount of insight and practical advice on how to make meetings work for your business. I found it really easy to read and hugely useful and have already applied many of the lessons successfully in my own business.

Very interesting book, I'd recommend it to all leaders/managers. I liked in particular the suggestions given to keep people engaged during the meetings and the need to distinguish clearly among different types of meetings.I learned so much from this book, it really is a must if you do any kind of meetings in your workplace.

Well-structured, entertaining and full of useful techniques
I bought this book to provide stimulus on how I could better structure and run my meetings with a range of people that I work with. I finished the book inside a week and have put some of the techniques into practice already.
