Works like Magic!
I got hit in the face with a rock many years ago, requiring stitches just over my right eye. Ever since then, my eyelid has slowly but surely sagged lower and lower. I am also a very heavy sweater and the sweat rolls right over that saggy eyelid and drips precisely onto my eyeball. The salty sweat then starts to burn my eye and, because I sweat so profusely, wiping it does not good. As fast as I can wipe, new sweat appears and drips right into my eye again. It's to the point now where, if I am doing any of my favorite activities, such as cycling, hiking, Jiu Jitsu, or whatever, after the first few minutes, I end up doing the rest of it with one eye open and the other closed. It's actually really dangerous. I once misjudged turning into a driveway from a road because my eye on that side was closed and I rolled right into a ditch.I recently discovered this Sweat GUTR Sweatband and ordered the (Military/Tactical) version of it. Most of the reviews were positive but some said it's softer and doesn't work as well as the regular version. I don't have a regular version for comparison, but I can say that I went out for a one-hour bike ride today in the 93° Texas heat. I do this same ride a lot, so I know exactly where I have to close that right eye and keep it that way for the rest of the ride. I passed that spot with eyes wide open and thought, "even if I have to close them soon, it's still better than before." However, I completed the entire ride and my right eye never burned. I never had to close it. I was flabbergasted.Don't get me wrong; I sweated profusely. My shirt was soaked. My hair was soaked. My arms and hands were slippery and wet. I could feel sweat running down my cheeks and a tiny bit of it--perhaps originating below the Sweat GUTR--managed to roll down my nose and get just a tiny bit into the inside corner of my eye, but that is the opposite side of where it usually drips right into the eye. My sunglasses also got sweaty and I had to wipe them, resulting it more of a smear than a clean lens, but that was probably sweat from above the Sweat GUTR dripping when I am looking down, and that happens whether I am wearing the Sweat GUTR or not.The only bad thing I can say is that I felt a slight pressure around my head and thought, "if I have to wear this for a long time, it might end up giving me a headache." I didn't actually get a headache, but the pressure made me think I might get one soon. I still have some experimenting to do. Perhaps I just had it too tight and perhaps I can loosen it and it will still work. But that I was able to complete that entire ride and never feel a burning in my eye was extremely satisfying. I wholeheartedly endorse this product.

I sweet buckets
Here in South Florida, there are only a few months with lower humidity. I have tried everything, every sweatband, even 8 sweatbands, it gets saturated in minutes, then I replace it with a dry one, so much hassle. I still have my first gutr from 14 years ago, but found the gutr is just not wide enough, so the sweat streams from the side and then still runs into my eyes and burn them. This gutr is wider and the sweat streams down further to the side - but I still need to be careful how I tilt my head as it can still run into my eyes, but this is the best I've found so far. As an avid gardener, its a must have for me.

I bought both military and sport
I have had a Gutr sweatband for a long time (over a decade). They have been indispensable for mountain biking. This year I lost mine and could not make it through a ride without burning eyes and trying to ride by braille, so I looked into buying another. The design has changed a little over the years. The closure on the military version was most like my previous one, which allowed me to install and remove the band without removing the helmet so I went for that one. Turns out the military version is made of stiffer plastic, which did not conform to my forehead. It left a gap for sweat to get through as others have commented. I then bought the sport, which sealed tight to my forehead. At first I thought I wouldn’t like the new design of the strap but I think I will get used to it. It does require removing the helmet to install/remove.

It works but...
It does work in the fact it redirects your sweat but not quite as it's designed. It doesn't sit flush against your head, at least in my experience, so the designed gutter never actually comes into play. Instead the sweat runs along your actual forehead since the top does not come flush causing a gutter itself. The big issue I have is when it does this it redirects the sweat and dumps it directly into my ears. Literally perfectly runs right into my ear holes. So if they made it to create a seal so to say as intended at the top of the bad and the sweat wasn't directed straight into my ears it would be great!

Sweat GUTR works
I have used these since they came out. They channel your sweat away from your eyes so it goes off to the side. Genius idea for very simple product. You have to fit them tight on your head to make them work so they take getting used to but once you are used to them they do their job.

Reusable and durable
Seems like a great product so far. Still too early to see if it actually keeps the sweat out of my eyes.

Keep the eyes clear
I like the channel to keep sweat out of my eyes. After working in the yard my hat is a bit dryer and I don't have to wipe my forehead as much. As much as I like to take a break I have less of an excuse to break.

Worth it!
Bought to divert sweat away from eyes under a hockey helmet. Takes some adjusting so it doesn't create a pressure point but works great! Keeps forehead sweat off the lens.
