QILIPSU Junction Box with Mounting Plate 130x80x70mm, ABS Plastic DIY Electrical Project Case IP67 Waterproof Dustproof Enclosure Grey (5.1"x3.1"x2.8")

I used two of these for enclosures for Arduino boards for a project. They were easy to set up, drill the holes I needed through, and mount where I needed them. I ended up using some spacers that came with a TV mounting bracket and longer screws to bring the mounting board higher up, then cutting a corner out of the board to run the wire below. My boards have OLED displays and I wanted to see the screen but hide the mess.

The box is sturdy with good weatherproof seals. The raised platform makes it easy to mount items in the box without having to drill into the weatherproof box. When a hole is needed in the box, the plastic is soft enough that it does not crack when drilled with a hole saw. Stainless steel mounts make it easy to adapt to variability in the mounting surface.I mounted two 2-gang power boxes inside with a 6 circuit terminal bus. The top box has 2 light switches that control two duplex outlets below. This assembly is used to control the equipment for my pond. It is mounted outside with full weather exposure in south Florida.

This worked quite well for my application and holds all of the logic circuitry for my heat conversion. I suggest a 6” bit to anchor to the wall as the screws go through the case in a thin tubular channel that can’t be reached otherwise.

I liked most everything about this except---the standoff legs--which I chose not to use. The studs are metal threads. The mounting plate is a grid which makes alignment easy with no measuring or leveling required.Coming from an electrical background the plastic is thick enough to be durable but thinner then, for example Carlon or other standard manufactures...but the price is excellent.

Great project box with a clear lid

I used this box to install a battery monitor outdoors on my trailer battery box. Being waterproof it was just the right size to house the monitors current monitor on the negative leg of the 12V system. So far it has done a great job and is useful.

We needed to mount a range extender outdoors. This box latches securely and has a rubber gasket to ensure a watertight seal. I will be adding weatherproof vents to allow the heat from the range extender to escape. Nice box.

Well made, sturdy and easy to use box for outdoor electrical equipment like irrigation controllers and lighting. Easy to adjust.
