The Bug Book

Rhyming bug fun! My 2 year old son is obsessed with this book and bugs after reading, especially the rhino beetles! I wish there were bug names on every page, but there is a small list at the back with photos.

Fun to read and explanatory of bugs somewhat but not overly educational. Interact with your child by adding to the story, colors of the bugs and pointing out details that you might know. Ex: ants marching one by one song, it’s bitsy spider song, etc.

3 yr old liked it.

My two year old loves looking at the pictures. Unfortunately there’s no information regarding each bug on the page.

Bought this for my little cousin as im a bit of a bug nerd. Wonderful images, rhyming schemes, cute without being icky, scary, or gross. Good for younger children/toddlers. One small note is that there are some bugs included that aren't actually insects, but otherwise a wonderful book at a good price !

I got this for a 2-year old grandson who loves bugs. The pictures are so good and it's simple enough for a young child while still being very engaging.

For my preschool class who love bugs. It was great.

My (almost two yo) son loves reading this book! We have so much fun looking at all the beautiful pictures and talking about all the different bugs.

Un petit livre absolument génial pour mon deux ans fasciné par les insectes. Je cherchais un album avec de vraies photos et peu de texte pour accompagner son petit observatoire à insecte sur sa table de botanique, ce livre est tout simplement parfait ! Les photos sont très belles, et mon fils s'est empressé de prendre sa loupe pour observer de plus près ces petites bêtes en photo. Je regrette qu'il n'existe pas en format cartonné pour plus de solidité, mais pour l'instant mon fils en prend grand soin donc il est toujours en un seul morceau.
