My son just got hired as a lifeguard at the Y and needed to get board shorts for work. Didn't realize how easy they'd be to find on Amazon. These fit as expected. Good price, too.

The fly on these shorts is velcro. There is a tie at the waist, but the fly is held shut by velcro. My son does not find them comfortable to wear, and I find it annoying to wash them as the velcro sticks to other clothing in the load if we are not carefully. I expected better from Speedo.

Ok, they ran big in size.The fabric is sturdy.
