Gave these to my sone to keep in each of the family cars. That was after he'd broken his iPhone using it as a light while working on on a car in the dark. The only problem is that the kids liked them too so I'm not sure they ever made it into the cars. They're surprisingly bright, very small and light and the strobe features are great to signal distress if you have car problems in the dark.

I love these small, inexpensive flashlights. They take a single AA battery and are very bright. Three modes: bright, dimmer and flashing. They fit nicely in the hand. My favorite feature is the on/off/mode rubberized button is recessed so you can set the flashlight on end and use it as a lamp (handy in a power-outage). I like these flashlights better than several much higher-priced flashlights I already own.

They are great little BRiGHT flashlights that work well with 1 battery. The price even gets better when I change colors. I like them as effective well-made little flash-lights & something I will always be watching for specials as the year unfolds.

Amazingly bright and small. Uses one AA battery rather than 2-3 AAA's. Don't get a dark color, they are easy to loose. Red is perfect. Get one for all your cars, in-flight carry-on, backpack, etc. Very, very bright, zoomable, has great emergency blinker!

I rated these a 5-star, or an "I love it" in this system because of the cost per unit, for what you are getting, and for the ease of use and functionality.You will need 1 AA battery for each unit, for a total of 3 AA batteries (NOT included).When it comes to flashlights, I like having a LOT of them to stick in whatever pack/accessory I choose to carry along with me at the time, so having packs like this are a nice find. I also want something that is durable and will take a beating/work when I want it to. Combining these two considerations is really nice, plus you want something that is VERY bright, that the beam can be adjusted on, and that has multiple cycles to meet varying needs. These actually have a good size despite being compact, too, making them solid and easy for someone with longer fingers/ big hands to use.With regard to cycling, I did not think these would cycle that easily because everything revolves around slightly depressing the back button. You push it all the way in the turn these on or off, but you lightly touch them to get them to brighten, to dim, or to go into emergency/flashing lights. This responds really well, and I personally like the fact that you end up with an emergency lighting effect because you never know when you might need it.When it comes to brightness, these are really good and especially for their pricing point. I had honestly expected something that would not adjust or give a wide view, but these do a great job with that. They have the squared, compressed view on one end of the spectrum and the really wide girth on the other end.For materials, I was really pleased by how these are made and the sizing (as mentioned earlier). I have large hands and it is hard for me to hold a really small flashlight, but these have done really well with that. They are also not penlights, which seems to be the default option for lower pricing point lights, and that matters quite a bit to me because penlights end up getting damaged easily. Even the clip is held together well, with two small bolts getting it in place.

I was offered this set at a discount for a review. At first my thought was "do I need three flashlights?" well it turns out I did. When the box arrived I opened it up and my two youngest sons immediately grabbed a flashlight and claimed it for their own. They said they red was way cooler than the black flashlights they currently have.I looked closely at the flashlight and realized they were correct, red is cooler.This is a small flashlight powered by a single AA battery. The light is bright and you can adjust the beam from wide to narrow. I took it outside last night and with the beam narrowed down I could easily see the deer at the back of my yard even though they were 150 feet away.When using it wide the beam set on wide, which is accomplished by sliding the focusing ring forward or backwards, the wide setting easily lights up a rather large area and makes looking for something in a darkened room or area very easy.The red finish is quite nice. The flashlight has grooves cut into the sides which make it more grippy and less likely to slip out of your hands. The clip makes it easy to attach to a pocket so it can be carried without slipping out. The light also has three modes, high/low/SOS.

I love these flashlights! They are extremely bright and have several modes to choose from. SOS blinking mode makes this a great light to have in the event of an emergency because you just never know what might happen! Small but durably made with aluminum outer casing with clips to attach in your belt clip. Great set of three for one price! My kids will be taking them to camp this year!
