if interest to know! what happens to arms struggle movement for Independence in India after 1857.
Its a autobiographical book, not a historical one with exact dates.Should or say must be read, to know how arms struggle movement rise and fall between period of 1890 to 1930, written by a person who was jailed two times in Kala Pani and formed HRA.Good thing is that he didn't criticise anyone blindly or brutally. Instead of it he accommodate both POV at same place and not trying justify anyone of them.

On Teacher’s day, the teacher who taught revolution is worth mentioning!
Born at Banaras in colonial India, Sachindra Nath Sanyal is known to be the mentor of revolutionaries. He was the person who taught bomb-making to Jatindra Das. In 1924 when Non-cooperation movement had failed, he (along with Ram Prasad ‘Bismil’) established HRA. He also drafted the manifesto of HRA named “The revolutionary”. Later on, this organization became HSRA. Revolutionary leaders like Sardar Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekhar Azad were part of this very organization. He was arrested and tried for conspiring against the colonial British empire. He was one of the few revolutionary leaders who were sent to “Kala-Pani” (Andaman Cellular Jail) twice. He contacted TB while in jail and so he was transferred to Gorakhpur jail in the final days of his life. He passed away in 1942. Bandi Jiwan is his autobiography where he talks about how colonial British rulers had imprisoned India. Hence the name “Bandi Jiwan” (A life in bondage/jail).On Teacher’s day, the teacher who taught revolution is worth mentioning!
