Q: Are these good fir cutting fabric?

These will cut anything! But probably not the best use for "dressmaking" as they are not shaped the same. but if you need to cut thick fabric, they are fine. I use them for cardboard, plants, packages. I love them so much I have an "upstairs" pair and a "downstairs" pair. But buy through Cutco for lower price.
