Easy to Use & BPA Free, Highly Recommended
These foil lids allow me to reuse my Nespresso pods, easily add my coffee and cover — they work perfectly! I like that it's environmentally friendly and also saves you money by using some of your own coffee when you want a break from just the Nespresso flavors. Because it's something I'm consuming, I want food grade materials, and this brand gives you that. I highly recommend this product!

Sturdy, quick and easy to use...
Jan 29, 2019 -- This is my fourth reorder for the My-Cap Foils to Reuse Capsules for the Nespresso VertuoLine Brewers. I highly recommend them to anyone who, like me, loves the convenience of instant espresso-like coffee, but wants to save money, doesn’t like the Nespresso coffees, and/or wants to reduce waste. The hardest part of using these foil toppers is removing the original foil and film from the Nespresso VertuoLine capsules. It's not hard, it just requires a bit of patience. Using tweezers, it takes a few minutes per capsule, but the My-Cap foil topper still works even if I can't remove 100% of the Nespresso foil.We keep some Nespresso coffee in the house for when all of our reused capsules are dirty and I don't have time to clean them. However, we have gone from ordering 90 Nespresso capsules a month, to ordering 90 once every 3-4 months. I could actually not order any Nespresso coffee if I stayed on top of cleaning the used capsules on a regular basis. My personal coffee blend is way better than the Nespresso coffee. My husband and I both prefer the coffee I make with a reused capsule. I blend 2+ coffee/espresso blends and get a deliciously smooth and well-balanced cup of coffee that I don't mind drinking black. My husband can always tell when he got Nespresso coffee and will ask what I did different because it tastes bitter. For anyone interested, I’ll put my coffee blend below…I followed another reviewers' advice about using the hard tip of the My-Cap brush to smooth the foil down onto the capsule and it has worked 100% of the time without fail. I have not experienced any overflowing grounds, or torn foil after placing the capsule in the Nespresso brewer. Sometimes, I slip while smoothing the foil down and end up tearing the foil, but that's my fault. I really should pre-prep the capsules before I go to bed so I don't have to make a capsule while I'm half asleep and my dexterity is at 50% efficiency. These My-Cap foil toppers have saved my husband and me so much money on coffee. And! I can finally enjoy a decent shot of smooth, not bitter espresso without leaving home. I highly recommend.**********************************My personal coffee blend: In a large, sealable container, combine one bag of Starbucks ground espresso roast and one can of Illy ground espresso dark roast in a large container and mix well... I use an old, large Folgers can that I picked up from work when it was empty. The Illy balances the Starbucks beautifully. On their own, they make good espresso, but combined, they’re like the Captain Planet of espresso coffees. My husband likes flavored coffees, like HEB's cinnamon hazelnut. I use a mason jar to mix a 50/50 ratio of my espresso blend and his flavored coffee. Even though the flavored coffee isn’t an espresso roast, it still turns out really good. I can’t taste the flavored Nespresso coffees, but I can always taste the flavors of my personal blends.***Prepping a capsule: For making a large capsule, I find about 2.5 tbsp of our coffee mix is perfect for the large capsules. Measurements will vary based on the size of the coffee grind. Ideally, finer/espresso ground coffees should be used. French press ground coffee will taste weak and watery.1) Scoop 1 tbsp at a time, gently pressing down between scoops.2) After filling the capsule, use a tamper or something flat to gently tamp the coffee into the capsule.3) If there are any grounds on the rim of the capsule, a careful tap on the sides of the capsule holder is generally all I need to get any stray grounds off the rim and back in the capsule. Otherwise, use the My-Cap brush.4) Apply the My-Cap foil topper and use the point of the brush handle to smooth it down on the rim and around the sides of the capsule. I don't fold it all the way under, and it doesn't need to be. The foil topper stays on and the coffee is perfectly brewed as long as it's smoothed down on the rim and around the sides. When I have everything organized and ready to go, I can make two cups of coffee in just a few minutes. The second capsule comes together while the first cup is brewing.**I hope this helped someone.**

Don’t run out! These work great with little effort, you can save big on your coffee bill!
I ordered a Nespresso machine on a whim for hubs fro Xmas, as he really enjoys his cup in the mornings. I had previously had another type of single serve, but always felt that the coffee it produced was weak, no matter what brand of coffee used. Got it, and we loved the coffee, but I was really shocked at the price of the coffee per cup! I had planned to return the coffeemaker, but luckily came across your product while searching Amazon for a deal on the original pods. I was skeptical, but ordered the starter kit as a last ditch effort to save the coffeemaker, After my first small order of the complete system, I was delighted to learn that they do. These foil caps work beautifully! I now order the refills by the hundred, so as to ensure that I don’t run out. The cost savings is monumental compared to the cost of the original pods. Whereas I was previously spending over $50/ month on our morning coffee, I am now spending well under $15/ month! When I first started using the foils, I occasionally got an error message. Soon learned to make sure the the bar code on the underneath of the rim of the pod must be clearly visible. Now if I get that red blinking light, I just open the machine, take the pod out, check the underneath and put it back in. Even though it is punctured, it will still work after corrected. No more wasted coffee! The time to make the pods is minimal. I usually prepare 20 at a time on Sunday evening, while watching TV. That way I am set for the coming week. On the rare occasion that I find myself without any ready to go, I can easily make a pod on the spot, using the paper filter and plastic lid that came in my initial set. In fact, that version produces even more crema than the foil version, so If I am craving that, I sometimes make one even when I have plenty of premade foil pods. You really can’t go wrong with these products.

These work great.
I don't what I was thinking. I couldn't find the larger Vertuo pods to refill. Duh. Just use the ones from Nespresso. Easy to cut off the tops, easy to clean out, refill. (Use another pod to tamp down the ground coffee.) They will last forever. The coffee I get is rich and dark; not quite the same as the Nespresso pod... but they cost almost nothing and you get a good cup of coffee faster than any other method. Best first cup of the morning method. So this is a good deal. It's easier if you refill ten or more at a time. The grind? I just use my cheap Krupp grinder.

Buy theses and save a ton of cash! Work great!!
These are so awesome! So easy to use. I was concerned they might allow coffee to leak out but never has in about 20+ coffees I've made. Coffees are just as delicious using my own brands with the foils. Save you a ton of money!! Thank you My-Cap!!!
