Chose this for a bathroom renovation. Can't comment on the ease of install because our contractor installed it. We bought it ahead of time so he could construct a suitable behind the wall support. It's a piece of 2x10 attached between 2 studs. You probably want something sturdy like that because this is not a cheap, lightweight unit. Materials, build, and finish are quite good. It's only been in place a couple of months but I feel like it will last.

I have to say it the first time on Amazon that a product exceeded my expectation. Even the thickness of the wood is awesome. My first test was a man 280 pounds and it didn’t failed. Just make sure that you have solid support and the product will do the rest.
