Plastic Wrapped
I have not actually used any of these pencils yet but was greatly disappointed to find that they have the plastic wraps on them. The plastic is not only difficult to sharpen but it tears up sharpeners as well. I usually make my students tear off the wrap before sharpening. That makes spending $30 for special reading pencils seem pretty pointless!
