Great replacement
Replaced another brand alternator that was destroying the belt due to the pulley position. Easy to install and works better than the NAPA alternator that was installed on my truck. You can't go wrong buying GM products and buying through Amazon you save money compared to buying from the dealer.

Fits the LBZ engine with dual generators
I have a 2007 GMC 2500HD with dual generators, Allison, crew cab seating, 4x4.. Well Let me back up. The dealer took certain equipment out of the truck before selling it to me and it once had TWO alternators. It now has just the one. Works just fine until the bearings went out on the alternator. Amazon states this will NOT fit my truck, but it DOES! Amazon has a good price and available now. Two-day shipping? Yup, that's me! The alternator fits, albeit tightly and all of the plugs and wires goes right where they are supposed to. That is the really good news.The bad news is Amazon packs them like yesterday's trash. Mine arrived with a damaged pulley as somebody dropped the package during shipment.Photos are attached for your viewing pleasure.So, I give this product 5 starts with 1 star off for the packaging for a final score of 4 stars.

07 classic Duramax LBZ perfect fit
This is a straight drop in for an LBZ. Easy to install and works as expected. I don’t trust remanufactured alternators. So getting a new one at this price is a great deal.
