Shadow-Ball Glow in The Dark Outdoor-Pickleballs, Luminescent, 6 Pack Pickleballs, USAPA Standard

When it gets dusk out, it is definitely harder to see the regular yellow/white pickleballs. A friend has to stop immediately at that time because with her visual impairment she cannot see the balls at all. I lit the balls up with a USB UV Blacklight and the balls glow brightly. It was rewarding to see her be excited that she could now see the ball and could continue to play. I found that if I made a bag out of doubling up the shiny emergency blanket I had and put it in a zipper lunch bag which made sure no light could get in or escape, and then put the balls in with the USB blacklight that will last long enough for the time we want to play, I can have all the balls ready and can easily grab a full strength glowing ball as soon as the other ball begins to dim. YAY!!! Great product!

These balls seemed to be the most solid feeling and outperformed other premium outdoor balls in a hot Florida Summer. None have cracked, they roll straight unlike some other brands,(no wobble) bounce is consistent, play fast, and the bonus of extending play in dim light if you have a powerful light and reflective bag to charge them in.

I didn't end up using these much. I thought it'd extend my playing time an extra bit when the sun goes down. But they felt so different from other pickleballs that it's a hard adjustment.

The glow only lasts about ten minutes. It's perfect during twilight just before the outdoor court lights are turned on.

These pickleballs are so much fun. When the sun goes down the party starts. This are the perfect balls for night play. You may not be able to see the lines, but these balls keep the party going after dark. They stay glowing long enough to get a few points in. When it starts to dull, just grab the flashlight and recharge in 10 seconds. Highly recommend for the emphatic pickleball player. Would be a great gift.

Used the balls with the “charging bag” which I would definitely recommend since the glow doesn’t last as long as you want it to (just like glow golf balls). I got the extra balls and a bag and filled it up to keep playing past twilight, just getting a new “charged” ball as it dimmed. First time I’ve seen an actual glowing pickle ball!
