my cat LOVES this damn thing. I just got this out of the box and made my cats day. We played with it for a while, and there were more than a few times he crammed the whole mouse into his mouth and attempted to walk away with the toy to shred it in peace as he is genetically meant to do. I have since put it away and he remains on a vigilant watch hoping he can will it to jump out of the drawer I have tucked it in.this came with extra mice, and I suspect that someone will find them in there packages on the kitchen counter tonight as I sleep ....and chew a hole in the bags and proceed to pull them out and surprise me with them in my bed by morning. Look I could try and stop it...but I am always rather impressed by my damn cats determination to show me he will protect me from mice.

Cat loves it. But use caution. I'd recommend storing it and never leaving it laying around. My cat ate the entire mouse when it was accidentally left down. Must be sprayed with catnip. Something that they absolutely go nuts for. Luckily, it's made with thread that falls apart fairly easily so there's no chance of cat choking or ingesting one long string and requiring surgery. The fibers are fairly short and as mentioned, thread falls apart so not a serious danger. But, also need to be careful that cat doesn't get it and chew on it too much during playtime or the mouse will sort of fall apart (it gets gradually smaller and shorter when this happens).

Pros: kitten is obsessed with this. She chatters like it's real. Entertained until she is so tired she pants like a dog. We can throw this thing and she will retrieve it. Bottom line...she LOVES itCons: the mice shred easily. It does advise you not to leave them unattended with it, but that's easier said than done when we play fetch with her. We attached a cheapy felt stuffed mouse from Walmart on the wire. Works just as good, but much harder to shred.

I've used the cat catcher for years but had an issue with the wire getting kinked. I didn't know at the time that I could order a replacement wire so I discarded my cat catcher and ordered a new one. At the time I didn't realize until receiving the new one that they had shortened the length of the wand by about one third. The shorter wand makes it much harder for me to move the cat toy around. I ended up putting this in the drawer and ordering a different one from another company.

My cat goes CRAZY for this toy. The mouse is on a flexible wire that causes it to move and jitter extremely realistically if you shake it or drag it across the floor. My cat goes completely wild chasing it and then will hold it and "kill" it vigorously after he catches it and then will spend a long time sitting with it and batting at his kill to make sure it's "dead." He does not have this level of interest or engagement in any other wand toy from other manufacturers.

My cat goes bananas when he even sees this toy.He also carries it in his mouth, dragging the stick, at 2am, meowing louder than a drunk goat, trying to bring us a present in bed. It scares the crap out of me every night and then I have the pleasure of stepping on it first thing in the morning when I get up.I have had to buy 4 of these now because of him either chewing the mouse off, or the vacuuming accidentally swooping it up. I can play with him for about 25 minutes before he gets tired.

Same toy on "My Cat from Hell" & all 4 of my cats LOVE this the best out of all of their toys! Gets them going, but do not leave it laying around bad "Baby Kitty" likes to chew it up & he will even go on the kitchen counter or refrigerator to get it down to play. So I have to hide it in a cupboard or if given the chance he will destroy it if we are not looking or are not home. Fast shipping from local manufacturer. 😊

This is the only toy of all the ones I've bought that my cat plays with continually. Even by himself. I'm on my 3rd one. Not because the arent' well made, but because he plays with it that much.
