It doesn’t work… plain and simple. I touched it with my hand and it actually grew warmer the longer my hand was on it. I’m quite certain that I heard my cat snickering behind me. My cat looked at it, stepped on it and then stepped off of it and laid down next to it. Our laminate is cooler than this mat.

Malakai doesn’t like it. Prefers the top of a large cardboard box(? !) He has a furry donut in his crate for winter but wants no part of it now that summer (even with central AC) is here. So we’re buying him a “cool” temp bed. That will go back if he balks. Picky Yorkie. I can’t rate it over 2* since he won’t lie down on it, maybe because it looks like the pee pads he had when we rescued him.

I ordered this cooling mat for my Staffordshire Terrier in the heat wave. I was surprised how inexpensive and effective it is at keeping my doggy cool! She's 60 lbs and the XL size fits her very well. Every time I turn around, she's chilling on her cooling mat! It's lightweight and cool to the touch. I definitely recommend, especially because it's such an inexpensive option compared to the gel cooling mats, and this mat works so well! I always bring the mat in my room where my Staffy sleeps so she has the option of her regular fuzzy dog bed or her cooling mat. She switches between the two during the night. I've already suggested this mat to my mom for her kelpie-husky mix and to my sister for her shiloh shepherd!

This thing doesn't really cool anything anymore than a slick magazine cover laid on the floor cools. It's fleeting and a function of the slick surface. Nothing magical about the material and it warms up fast just like any other fabric. Save your money.

I bought this pad for my cat, for now during the summer time, when it's not too hot outside to turn on the air, but it still warm enough for her. She really likes it. It does feel nice and cool. I may buy one for my small dog as well.

I saw a review for this cooling mat for pets on YouTube. I could not believe how cooling this mat actually is. My cat has very long and thick fur and she’s been obsessed with this mat since it came a few days ago she loves it. Definitely cools as it states in the title of the product. Definitely worth the money.

Returned this. It's a piece of fabric with a tiny bit of padding in it. I suppose the shiny fabric on top is what's supposed to be cool but there's not much to it and I didn't see it being very cooling at all.
