Painful to use (for me, not the dog)
Twists in your hand and is uncomfortable to grip by the comb, no real handle for ease of use.

Didn't thin the hair and bent in the process
ok. Just ok. Pulled my baby's hair. She hated me trying to use this product to thin her hair a bit. It really didn't work at all. Didn't thin the hair and bent in the process. Flimsy . She's a tuxedo with thin, straight hairs. The comb bent as it is too soft. I sent it back.
