This bug zapper is well-made and definitely does the job. It's "easier to clean" than typical zappers. It has a built-in "brush" that periodically can be drawn along the grid to clear it of bug debris. According to the instructions, it can also be disassembled for more thorough cleaning. I haven't done that, yet, but plan to before storing it for winter.The one "complaint" I have is that it's loud - instead of the usual zapping sound (typically, a quiet "buzzing" noise), it makes a loud, snapping or popping noise. It's louder than any bug zapper I've ever heard. If you're old enough to remember cap pistols as a kid, the sound is very reminiscent of that. I have it on my back patio, and I can hear the sound inside my house with the TV on! You *definitely* wouldn't want to use this in the vicinity of people (like an outdoor patio gathering) as the sound would be very distracting - it can even be heard several houses away!So, that's the one caveat (the sound). Fortunately, I'm using it on an otherwise-vacant patio, so it's not really a problem.

Worked well for a good while but bulb went out. Ordered new bulbs and replaced them but doesn't turn on. Need a guarantee replacement from them.

We got this about 6 weeks ago and have turned it on every night since the day it arrived. The sound is less like the "Zap" I remember from our bug light 20 years ago; this is more like a "Pop" sound. As the title indicates, there are times it is is popping so frequently the sound is similar to a bag of microwave popcorn when it hits its peak. It has definitely cut down on the number of flying insects getting inside the house and looks nicer than those sticky things, so it is worth the price.

The headline basically says it all.This bug zapper works quite well, it reduced the amount of mosquitos we had coming in to the house quite effectively. Effectively enough that I wanted to order a second for the front side of the house.Except for the fact that the electrical pops from zapping bugs were so loud you could hear them across the house with headphones on, and more importantly, it terrified my dog to the point she wouldn't go outside while it was active, even to play... and she's happy to play in the middle of a massive thunderstorm.I definitely recommend this for people without pets, or with pets who don't care about loud noises. Reduction of mosquitos wasn't worth terrorizing my dog though.

So ok, I bought this as our new place seems to have a lot of flying insects. And I was getting annoyed with the biting ones. So I purchased this to help out. We love the outdoors but dislike the bugs. Well it was going off often. And when I went to clean out the tray it wasn't full, but all around was the bugs which were zipped and flung out! Bug graveyard lolSo going to purchase another fir inside of the house.

It is amazing how effective this product is. I have it on my back patio and it really does the job. It’s pretty loud when the bugs get zapped though. They caught me off guard the first night because I kept hearing a noise and could not locate it until I went outside. At least you know it’s working.

I gotta be honest, I was a lil disappointed in the size, I thought it would be bigger, the pics make it seem full size, it's not, but it isn't extremely small or anything either. That being said, it's a very powerful zapper. And it works very well, even the brush part. Everything functions as it should and works great. If it didn't, it would make one hell of a bath bomb for the ex. LolUpdate few days after getting it, literally used it for two nights, went to plug it in a third time, light up, bulb got bright for a second then turned itself off, and immediately smelled burned electrical. And quickly unplugged it. Amazon customer service quickly handled it, but man, I never had something fail on me so fast. Hell couldn't even make it a bath bomb lol 😆 (( clearly don't do that, it's a joke )) I gotta give it a one on quality. But seller shipped fast, and Amazon exchanged it, so we'll see how the new one is tomorrow. Hopefully works and stays that way.

The Zapper worked great but only lasted about a month before it died and stopped working. Contacted customer service and they tried helping, but when it still didn't work they sent me a new one. That was the good news. But unfortunately the new one stopped working after about 6 months so that is the bad news. From reading other comments it seems many have similar experience. So if you buy this Zapper, maybe you need to prepare yourself that it will last less than a year. So it's a great product that is effective in killing the bugs, but it just doesn't last for a long time.

I ordered this a while ago, but our mosquito season has only just begun with the arrival of warmer weather here on the East Coast of Canada. We have moved out to our trailer campsite, and mosquito season is in full swing there. It's difficult to enter the trailer without bringing in a half-dozen mosquitos. These are especially annoying in the bedroom, at night.So, I set up this bug light in the room, and we turn it on a few hours before bedtime. It definitely attracts mosquitoes, and the extremely loud SNAP tells me that it is very powerful - it's a louder snap than any other bug light I've seen, in fact.I was dubious, at first, as to how well it would work with mosquitoes. Some models I've used have had very large mesh, and as a result, mosquitoes often slipped through while moths were completely fried. This definitely kills mosquitos; they are well-charred when they hit the collection bin below.The unit is very light-weight; you can hang this on a garden planter pole with ease, or even fashion a coat-hanger hook to hang it from eavestroughing without worrying about damaging the troughing. It has a ring on top to attach to a hook or cord.It is listed as weatherproof, but if you're having a serious rainstorm, I would unplug it and bring it inside. By nature, it has to be open to allow mosquitoes to enter, and I would not want to have it running if exposed to heavy rain, of course.Cleaning is very easy - a tray at the bottom slides out, and you can dump the little, charred bugs in the trash or in the woods.Overall, I would rate this one 10/10 for quality and value.

Mata bichos que da gusto, llevo ya varias noches en la terraza y no me ha picado ni uno. El ruido te hace saltar de vez en cuando, pero prefiero eso a los chupasangres. Es más efectivo cuando es oscuro, al atardecer hay que usar spray o espirales además de la lámpara

J'ai commandé un adaptateur pour quelques euros.Cet appareil est très efficace, notamment contre les moustiques tigre qui finissent par s'y coller.J'avais acheté d'autres appareils dans des magasins, et ils n'étaient pas efficaces. Celui-ci est une vraie tuerie pour les moustiques.Seul inconvénient, le bruit quand le moustique se fait griller, ça claque ! Nous devons l'éteindre la nuit.Mais si voulez nettoyer votre pièce des moustiques, essayez le! C'est très efficace.Je lui pardonne la prise UK tellement il est efficace.
