This was the first time that I have worked with wafer paper as a cake decoration, although I have worked with other types of edible paper products in the past. I expected the consistency of the product to be very unpleasant to eat, as if you were munching on real paper. Quite the contrary. The edible wafer paper was actually tasty, and had a good texture. I found myself looking forward to each bite of it. I was very surprised by this. It was also pretty flexible in the working stages. I punched out circles, colored them as I wished, and then folded and stacked them. Some of them broke in two when I folded them, but for the design I was using, this was not a problem. I would definitely purchase this brand of wafer paper again in the future.
