Sun-Glo Speed 7 (Bowler Shuffle Alley Wax) Shuffleboard Table Powder, 16 oz. Can

I bought this for a shuffle board table in our restaurant. Most of the guests don't know how to play, or don't play often. For this reason, I didn't want a very fast table. The 7 Speed is very slow, and requires a lot of force, relative to more common 'sand' that you'll find at the pub or arcade. That makes it easier to alter your power and get more control for new players. It's working well, and I've gotten a lot more people hanging out & playing with the slower sand on the table. Definitely recommended if you need a slower table for such a situation or for your kid's table!

This was perfect to mix with my faster speed sand to make my 9' table playable.

We have an outdoor shuffleboard table with a slick surface so this sand helps keep the pucks on the table.

This is what you want,not silicone balls.

Did not work well at all.

Tried to use this on a 9 foot table, and unless you are a gorilla or the hulk, it's pointless. We had a hard time even getting the pucks to the other end of the table with this stuff. Also, the pucks will just sweep this out of the way after 1 round of play, and it's more like glue than wax. It's also a weird gross "yellow" color. Basically, it's like ground up cornmeal.

We needed to slow down our rocks so this works well.
