Darkroom Large Format Camera Film Changing Tent Bag Wet Plate Film Changing Tent

Hoping to not get impregnated with fiberglass like some of the other reviewers. So far, nothing but great things to say. There's so much room, you'll think it's a camping tent. Large enough to comfortably load8x10 negatives!

I already have a dark bag but I wanted something bigger so I could work with larger film. I was able to easily set this up. Mine came with the updated aluminum poles, which was nice.Unfortunately I immediately noticed I could plainly see light through the sides even in a dimly lit room.I tested it with some 4x5 sheet film. I loaded 2 sheets in this tent, and two sheets in my usual dark bag. Then took photos of the same subjects with the same camera, same settings, and developed the film together.This tent definitely ruined my film. The sheets loaded in this tent were completely exposed, the other sheets were perfectly fine.I'm sending it back for a refund.

I had one of these from a few years back. The tent was fine but more than half the pole sections failed and left fiberglass shards all over the tent making it unusable, I ended up throwing it away. I saw the "new" version where they say aluminum back bone. I took this to mean they changed to aluminum poles. Got the new tent and it has the same low quality fiberglass poles as before. Will be sending it back. It took weeks to get all the fiberglass out of my hands from the last one.

It is easy and quick to assemble and I hope it works properly.

We purchased three (3) changing tents for our film program. While assembling one, the center pole snapped. We need a replacement pole to be able to use this one.You agreed to send a pole to replace the broken pole. Please go ahead and ship it to us directly.

This poles are about 1.5” too long so it’s hard to assemble. The viewing hole needs to be deleted to reduce the chances of light leaks.
