Good all around mask with some details to know
Some pointer- material similar but better then most kn95 I tried. I tried many. So reuse should last longer then most.- strap design. It goes around the head, not behind ears so better fit. Elasticity is such that it’s comfortable to wear for long duration- fit. I have to wear 3m n95 at work at times and has to be fit tested. This one leaks at the bottom. (See the arrow in the picture) You can feel that when you take a deep breath. Solution: cross over the strap. Lower strap above the ears and upper strap below the ear. Hope that makes sense. I don’t feel leak after that.- nose bridge. It’s “shapeable”. And comfortable with foam inside. I didn’t feel any leak around the foam inside.I didn’t use any scientific method and I am not an expert.

Good Option for NIOSH Approved N95 Mask
A year and a half into the pandemic, I've used quite a large assortment of masks. From various surgical masks, to KN95, N95, and full-on "Breaking Bad" style P100 half-face respirator (with the dual pink filter cartridges). I saw these become available for Prime shipping and decided to check them out. A quick look on CDC's NIOSH Approved N95 mask list shows this mask to be on the list. It's sold under the MAXBOOST brand, but is made by Suzhou Fangtian Industries Company Ltd, Model FT-N040. I've also decided to compare it to two other NIOSH Approved N95 masks I have on hand, as well as a previously FDA EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) approved KN95 mask, which is based on the largely equivalent (to N95) Chinese standard. I say "previously", because the FDA revoked all EUA for non-NIOSH approved masks on June 30, 2021. Presumably because the supply of NIOSH approved N95 masks has now caught up to demand. I still keep some KN95 masks on hand though, because all N95 masks come with headbands that go over your head, whereas KN95 masks come with ear loops. I find that in situations where I have to frequently remove and put back the mask (i.e. drinking a beverage), it's easier to do with the ear loops on a KN95 mask.Initial impressions of the MAXBOOST N95:Pros:- Good price for a NIOSH approved N95 mask.- Available for Prime shipping.- The mask is comfortable to wear. There is a foam strip on the inside for your nose. I have not seen this feature on any other masks I've used. It's a nice touch.Cons:- Comes in non-resealable plastic bags, 10 masks per bag. The other two brands of N95 masks I have are both individually sealed.Vs. Competition:I'm comparing the MAXBOOST to other N95/KN95 masks I have on hand. This includes:- 3M N95 - 3M needs no introduction. It's a huge company that makes a mind-boggling variety of PPEs, including the P100 respirator (not pictured, but imagine what Walter White and Jesse Pinkman wear in Breaking Bad) that I use when I really want that extra protection. Mask is NIOSH approved.- United States Mask N95 - United States Mask is a fairly new company. You can search and read about them online, as they've appeared in numerous magazines and newspaper articles. What is unique about them is that not only are they based in the US (Dallas-Fort Worth area), but their manufacturing is also done in the US. Their N95 mask is fully NIOSH approved. It's the only mask in this comparison that is made in the US. I will refer to them as "USM" for the rest of this review.- Purism KN95 - As I explained above, they were previously on the FDA EUA list. Some observations vs the competition:- MAXBOOST N95 is the most comfortable, owing to its comfortable fabric elastic band, nice nose wire, and foam nose support. The USM N95 is also comfortable, but lacks the foam nose support, so I put it a step behind the MAXBOOST. The 3M N95 has rubber elastic bands and is less comfortable. The Purism KN95 has somewhat small elastic bands, and can hurt your ears after extended periods.- It's a relatively minor gripe, but I'm not a big fan of MAXBOOST's packaging here, where it's 10 masks per non-resealable plastic bag. I would just move them into ziploc bags. Would be nice if it's like 3M and USM, where each mask is individually packaged. Purism is middle of the road here; it's 5 masks per bag, but the bag is resealable.- Looks wise, the MAXBOOST, USM, and Purism all look pretty similar. The 3M looks decidedly more industrial, with its silver metal nose wire and rubber elastic bands affixed via silver metal staples. Conclusion:All in all, MAXBOOST N95 seems like a good choice for N95 masks. It is a good price and is available for Prime shipping. It's a mask that I would consider using on an on-going basis, as long as the pandemic persists.

Excellent fit, not smothering.
Although not the most fashionable mask, this one definitely meets the requirements of ALL places still requiring masks. These are a NIOSH Approved N95 Mask and a major safety upgrade compared to the "surgical masks" being handed out left and right. I love that NIOSH Approved and N95 are stamped on the mask, eliminating that questioning looks of supervisors and Karen's. Absolutely passes the candle test.At first I couldn't get it to fit tight but crossed the straps that go all the way around your head so that the bottom one was above my ears and the top one below my ears and WA-la, perfect fit. No gaps. No glasses fogging up. I can even spray paint in my small garage without getting fumed. The best feature for me personally is that while it fits tight around my face, it doesn't smash against my nose and lips. I'm super claustrophobic and this mask doesn't freak me out. Easy enough to wear for a full 9 hour shift without getting a headache or feeling smothered.

Little to no fog with glasses
The aspect that stands out the most is how well these masks fit with glasses on. Usually that is one of the cons(for me) while wearing a face mask or covering. Seems a bit more comfortable than other N95 masks but I really don't have too many to compare it to. I'm assuming you'd still get sore and develop marks on your face after prolonged use. Passes the "lighter test" no problem. Appears to be solid and well made. Still able to breathe completely fine without an issue while wearing it. As soft as an N95 mask gets. Obviously this is superior protection than your typical surgeon mask. I would buys these again if I were in the market. Would recommend this item to anyone looking for an N95 mask.

Mask Smells
I always wear a cloth mask but bought these N95 masks to wear in crowds. We had to attend an event in a room with many people. The mask smelled like chemicals and less than 5 minutes of putting on this mask for the first time, I had a terrible headache. I just ran back to my car and put on my cloth mask. I wish there were more options for N95 masks on amazon.

Not N-95
Not an N-95 mask, moves air freely when breathing. More like surgical mask quality.I don’t believe this passed it passed NIOSH approval
