Seven Days in Summer: A perfect summer escape set in Devon

Another must read. If you like stories of interesting people in English settings you will enjoy all of her books.

Very good book

A wonderful book of escapism in Summer on the Devon coast. I loved the characters and the way they are described, the feeling like you could relate to a friend with the same traits as the ones in the book.The story is about a family who has grown apart due to work pressures and a vindictive family 'acquaintance' who is determined to bring unhappiness to Liv, one of the main characters.Beautifully written with a lovely story to be told, it's definitely worth a read!

I was really looking forward to Marcia Willett's new book. But oh dear! What a disappointment. Nowhere near the standard of her other books and believe me I've read them all several times over without getting bored. It took me less than an evening to read.What a waste of money.
