Returned defective
These sandals were as described: Good fit and the colour matched the original picture. At first glance they looked up to the task. After 2 hours wearing around the house one of the plastic hoops that retain the Velcro straps came away from the sandal. On inspection, a few broken threads of cotton had been securing the hoop. The remaining 5 hoops also had broken thread sticking out of their retaining points. Fortunate I was not out and about wearing them and could return to Amazon for a refund.

Great Beach Shoe for the Casual Wearer
I find shopping for sandals difficult as I have quite high expectations and I am vegan. The price of these compared to the others on Amazon seemed too good to be true, although I was confident that the Dunlop brand would be durable. I wore them for two months constantly. I should at this point own up to being a dog owner who lives on the coast. They were therefore used in an all terrain environment. They were comfortable, but unfortunately not as resilient as I required. The strap over the main part of the foot gave way where it joins with the sole, rendering them useless. They did provide great use for the short time that I had them though, so I can’t complain. If you’re looking for a casual use beach sandal, these are definitely great value. I massacred mine 😢

Comfortable, but they won't last long.
I bought these Dunlop men's sport sandals for casual walking on paved sidewalks. After light use (perhaps 10-15 uses), the thin metal buckle holding the heel strap became fatigued and crumbled like cheap aluminium. My heel was then slipping out the back like a cheap flip-flop. It's a pity because I found them to be comfortable, but they really won't last long. It just after the return period, so I guess I'll use them as a flip-flop for the beach, but even then, I'm concerned that the other cut-price aluminium buckles remaining will crumble as well.

Inexpensive but comfortable footwear.
These sandals last at least six months of continuous indoor wear which I find acceptable as they are inexpensive and are my prefered footwear in the house. I have walked several miles outdoors in them on occasion without problems. Having had several pairs of these and the similar Slazenger ones I know that the glue eventually fails and sometimes the velcro wears out after long-term use.

Better sandals
I am having trouble with my feet and both the nurses and the podiatrist told me to wear sandals instead of trainers. They supplied me with NHS sandals which are plain and noit left and right fittings. The velcro fastenings are inadequate and to wear them is lethal as well as uncomfortable so in desperation I consulted Amazon and was shocked to find that some pairs cost over £ 60. I eventually selected a pair for £ 20 and they wetre delivered in just under 24 hours. They are Dunlop, one is for the left foot, the other the right and the two velcro fastenings on both work properly. There is a third one around the Achilles tendon so the sandal can be adjusted for length too. I asked for a size 11 and they do not need adjustment. These sandals are well designed and cionstructed and are excellent value. I hope the NHS finds out !

Fell apart
I was a bit surprised to find that the loops the straps go through on these are chrome plated metal. Previous pairs I've had have all been plastic. I thought they might rust, but that was the least of my worries. After wearing on a 1 week holiday the loop for the strap on the heel of the right shoe had broken in half. Previous designs I've had have lasted many years, these lasted a week. Avoid.Update...The day after I wrote the above, having repaired the broken shoe with cord, the other shoe broke in exactly the same way!

not comfortable, straps too short
Very hard, not comfortable, straps too short. My big feet kept spilling out and stepping on the raised hard edge around the narrow sole - instead of keeping my foot in place it brought a world of pain. Even after shaving the sharp edge off the sandals remained very uncomfortable and my feet in pain. Great look, painful to wear

Surprisingly good
My first pair of “cheap” sandals and they’re just fine! Comfortable and, I suspect, will last at least as long as the far more expensive ones I’ve previously bought. They look good too.P. S.I bought 1 size larger, from experience of previous brands this was necessary. Not with these. Go for your normal size, you’ll be fine.
